I didn't even see it until this video...
I never noticed it before but I can totally see the David Bryne influence. It feels like there's an overlap in their physical style, anxious energy and general brilliance.
My dad let me believe Bill Nye and David Byrne were the same person until I was in middle school, and when I asked him about it he just laughed.

I liked this guy on Crashing.
I simply do not uncderstand how on earth they continued on with the show after the conversation they had just beforehand. The stuff that they talked about was stuff that I couldn't even imagine talking to any of my closest friends and/or family about God Damn!
I used to own a VHS copy of Stop Making Sense and have seen it sooooo many times and have turned other people on to Talking Heads songs that they did not know by showing the movie to them. I have liked John Mulaney from the first time I saw him and to know he liked the movie as much as me is nice.
Stop Making Sense is just such a legendary concert film, i don’t blame you for seeing it so many times

I keep waiting for the day when Grant Gustin and John Mulvaney will be on the same show and Grant will show up in a suit from 1920's, and John will be in Flash suit. Or maybe have John show up as an alternate Flash on Grant's show.
