I am from Bengal. I have read in mission school. In our school in 7th and 8th grade sanskrit was a mainstream sub. I got a chance to learn Sanskrit for 2 years. I fell in love with the sub. But I hadn't read sanskrit later. But I used to read sanskrit shlok in regular basis .

डॉ स्वामी जी आपसे मैं अपना अनुभव बता रहा हूं। २०१४ दिसंबर में मैं शिकागो की प्रसिद्ध विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान में नासा द्वारा आयोजित एक डाॅकुमेंटरी देखने को मिली। इसका विषय था मानव को मंगल ग्रह पर ले जाने का और छः महीने बाद वापस लाने का। इसमें इस यात्रा संबंधित तैयारियों पर गहनता से विचारों को व्यक्त किया गया और इसकी तैयारी का नमूना पेश किया गया था। मैंने इसे बहुत ही उत्सुकता से देखा और समझा।
आश्चर्य तब हुआ जब अंत में वक्ता ने कहा कि हम क्यूं मंगल ग्रह पर जाने की सोच रहे हैं? जबाव था कि भारत के ग्रंथों में इस बात का जिक्र है कि इंसान पृथ्वी से स्वर्ग जाकर वापस लौटा है। हमें यह तो पता नहीं है कि स्वर्ग कहां है पर मंगल का पता है। इसलिए उस स्थिति को पाने से पहले यह छोटा सा प्रयास कर रहे हैं। उनका लक्ष्य है कि आने वाले ३० साल में यानी कि २०४४ तक नासा मंगल ग्रह पर इंसान भेजेगा।
और एक हमारे देश में उसी ज्ञान को कचरा बताते हुए कुछ नेता गर्व महसूस करते हैं।

Foreign countries like USA, UK, Germany, Russia, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Most part of Indonesia, etc. had already realised the power of Indian culture, Ancient Indian language, Ancient Indian science, medicine, technology, astronomy, astrology, mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, zoology, etc. in the past so, they appointed several researchers to understand how is Ancient India then Bharat, is so rich, healthy and wealthy. And people are so contended and happy here. So, they learned most of our manners, techniques and way of life.... and adapted themselves and did extensive research on Sanskrit language too. They have now realised it's potential, so they trying to learn it and have made a important subject to learn in major western universities. They have also realised that in ancient times all other western language have some words which is derived from Sanskrit and mixed into their own languages so, it proves that the ancients were in touch with each other through trade routes.
It's a shame that, Dr. SWAMY ain't a minister and People who chant, "GO CORONA" are made ministers! 😂 😜
