Gy6 bike batteries suck in the winter, capacitor banks are the solution - Autowit Super Cap 2

  • ...I'm not buying a new battery every year, I may, however, install one of these Autowit Super Cap 2's in my bike permanently.

    I’m about to get this scooter next month when I get my tax return. I see you got this 2 years ago. Glad you are still making videos on it. Keep doing it. I got a 50cc TaoTao that I use now but I want to upgrade to a 150. The price is good on this one but I know I’ll probably be doing some work on it at some point based on your videos. I’m slowly but surely becoming a CZcams mechanic on my car and scooter 😂

      Nice, yeah it's a decent little bike all things considered... good weight to power ratio... a 300cc would be cool if my girlfriend wanted to come along for a ride but the 150cc is great for me

    I replaced the starter motor and it doesn't need to rely on the capacitor to start up... After sitting in a parking lot all day in the freezing cold, it'll probably still need the extra power then. Just the starter motor, not the stater clutch or anything like that. Sounds and starts much better.

    that starter motor doesn't sound great. that's not helping anything I'm sure
