    If I’m running 115g FMJ and 124g FMJ and HP most of the time and only occasionally do 147g HP, what would be the best spring weight? 15? Compared to the “Springco” yellow and red color options what would the poundage be versus theirs as far as poundage per color in red and in yellow vs your 13 and your 15? And lastly, on the outside of the rod - the end near the muzzle on the exterior of the gun, will it look black still or does it change the color to more a steel color? I like the black and was hoping to not change the look. PS - what’s the factory PDP Full Size 4” pounds set for on the spring? I really didn’t feel like the pistol kicked as bad as people say. I’m more concerned about replacing that cheap garbage plastic thing that bends! I can’t believe they put that in such a nice piece.

    Im a newbie to firearms.. However I wanted to definitely change the factory recoil assembly on my PDP F series 3.5 and I also want to change the trigger as well? Im trying to modify my PDP F 3.5 to help reduce the recoil and snappiness I have carpal tunnel and Im so happy that I stumbled on to your channel

      @@robertkwiatkoski1292 I was able to change the recoil guide rod and it racks a lot easier than before. I haven’t had the chance to change the trigger, I actually got use to my trigger.

      @LoveableL70 what spring / guide rod assembly did you get? brand, speing wieght? thank you. i had thought the Walther tungston one would be great for added wieght up front and then add a wieghted back strap. 1) not in stock,2) Walther rep said the nrw assemblies change the spring wieght and make them darder to rack. Lighter racking was the 1st consideration when we purchased this pistol. thank you once again.

    I like em. I use my pdp for my edc so everything is stock. The one thing I wanted to change was the guide rod. Not a fan of the plastic one. What guide rod and spring weight can I get from you all that will not affect functionality and reliability? And possibly dampening the recoil just a bit.

    What is the reduction in "snappiness" going from the stock to the 15lb? Really liked the gun but didn't like how snappy it felt

    • @zrtacticalsolutions
      @zrtacticalsolutions  Před rokem +1

      13lb reduces more recoil. 15 is better for carry. As for how much? Hard to quantify. Depends on ammo, shooter, etc

    Don't you think the manufacturer had something in mind by choosing a mainspring?
    The force need to go somewhere.
    Who know glock gen 1 looking block digging into the slide ...mostly seen on guns "i've never changed the recoil spring for 20 years and shot 1 million rounds"
    PDP spring is very stiff and hard to rack the slide, without discussion, but i believe this is on purpose and not walther going through the warehouse randomly put some leftovers together 😂
