    Great instruction, I followed step by step and completed the whole job in about 4-5hrs, surprised how smooth it all went, thank you so much for the professional video, I saved myself about 450$

    Thanks your sequence is spot on. My only comment is the new style spider legs are really, really stiff and difficult to maneuver compared to the old simple one line poppet lines. It was a battle getting them routed under the bracket and it took a lot of muscle to get the module in the bracket. Be prepared to be forceful, just don't break anything-it's a fine line. Good luck.

    today i tried to change my injectors. it was hard to install with hard plastics line. I finally put everything back together, and now my truck is running extremely rough, and misfiring.

    Bought one of the cheapest s10 Xtremes in my area (Florida) and from the start it had issues. It would start fine but the ideal was rough and I mean rough, changed the spark plugs wires cap, distributor etc. With no luck :(
    After watching this video for about a week I figured I’ll do it myself. Step by step by far the most in-depth videos on this I’ve seen so far. Now it’s driving with my misfires and seems to run like a champ

    Great video. I just bought a '99 S10 and kept hearing about this "spider injector" system. So, a quick search brought me to this highly informative video. Now, if I ever need to address this unique injector assembly, I'll have a lot better idea of what it is and the entire process. I only wish I could do it in eighteen minutes and eleven seconds! 😁

    nice video but I did all that you did and now my truck has a over fueling problem it is dumping fuel down the exhaust pipe don't know what to do next I guess I will just go ahead an put a 350/350 in the damn thing

    If probably the best most thorough mechanic video I've ever seen. Great job! Can you troubleshoot A P0303 Cylinder number 3 misfire From the Injector plug? Which plug was the injector plug? Which tab on the injector plug do you test? Thank you. If you are an awesome mechanic

    So on a 97 4.3l. There is fuel coming out of the electrical spider harness~do you think it is a cracked injector line there? Also get the engine to start we spray carb cleaner in throttle plate

    Great video. I have it playing when I started to replace my spider injector in my 2000 Blazer. Question. The replacement ACDelco spider injector came with a new bracket that looks different than the stock one. Can I use the stock one? That's what it looks like you used. Thank you

    With the fuel line bro I only got one going on ??? The truck came like at but now after finishing putting a spider injector in I have a massive fuel leak at the fuel line because only one hole has a line other empty but that’s how it was before ?? And it didn’t leak now it does any ideas thanks

    Help!!!! The top part of the Pintle Tube (plastic piece that goes into the engine) is too big and can not fit. Are these "universal"? I have tried everything and none of the 6 fuel injectors are going in properly.

    My v8 is popping too. Definitely was out of time. I changed the distributor and replaced. I went with ac Delco. The other autozone stuff is made in China and I purchased a sensor brand new from them that was bad out of the box. So you could have had failed new parts for future reference

    I noticed you removed 5mm injectors, and replaced them with the 6.5 mm injectors. Is there any reason for that, and does that cause a change in how it the vehicle runs?

      The new nozzle on the injectors is longer because it is more recessed which prevents them from getting clogged up as easily as the original style

    After reinstalling my second fuel line the one closer to the steering wheeling wont sit in the spider injector it keeps popping out. My other fuel line sits in perfectly cant find a solutions any ideas?

    I was thinking about cutting the plastic ends of the injectors in half because they seem a bit longer than necessary.

      What makes you think you know better than a team of engineers and manufacturing specialists? GMC designed this as a direct upgrade for a design that flaw became apparent in. Also, if they could save some money on the plastic material, manufacturing, and shipping, they have already done a weight and material minimization.

      I'm having the same issue. Did you ever find a solution? The problem is that the plastic end, for some reason, is too long and will not seat in the injector holes. I don't know if I have a different intake or something but it doesn't go in like they do in this video.

    your using the V-6 on an 98-2005 S-10 as the air intake on a 94 is MUCH different then the one you used in the video!!! Sorry I have a factory 94 S-10 with the 4.3 v-6 and you seem to be using the engine that they put in a Blazer!

    A few major things wrong
    That Injector metering body bracket is incorrect for an MPFI swap.
    You really should use a heatgun on those nylon hoses and preroute as much as possible, smashing it down in like that is a good way to warp, kink, or crack a hose.
    You can use a crowsfoot socket to remove the fuel rail, and dont spray gas on the firewall like that..

      Ok, all done. No special tools required. Didn't break any connectors. Found an eroded 90° elbow on the EGR valve, (the one with the vacuum hose as well). Had to replace an o-ring for the break booster tube housing, at the plenum. She runs good and my daughter bought me a whopper for appreciation.
      Background; I'm mechanically inclined, was a mechanic in the army and do most of my own repairs.
      You can do it!
