many esports pros use light mice because its easier to aim and more natural but thats if you're more compeititve, i can see why many people like heavier mice
I used to think this until I realized a heavy mouse just makes you worse at shooters, backed by reproducible evidence while heavy mice are only every backed by people saying, "I feel like". All these people advocating for heavy mice are living like 7 years in the past. I feel like we are going through the same thing again. Corsair m65 was so cool because of how heavy it was, then it stopped being cool because people realized a heavy mouse kinda sucks.
Heavy mouses are actually most of the time better for aiming accurately the only advantage of a light mouse is moving quicker and you can still get the same thing with higher sensitivity
Does the slight shift in weight even do anything beneficial? I would assume it could slide basically just as good. I’ve never thought “This mouse is too heavy I need a lighter one.”
Honestly I think a heavy mouse is much better than companies trying to compete to make a super-light mouse, it feels repetitive and boring. Plus, they’re too sensitive to actually play games or get work done.
@Michael Steuart except smaller. That's the part that seems uncomfortable about it, if you've got long fingers it seems like it'd be fairly awkward to use
As someone who does both high sens and low sens gaming the weight of the g502 let’s you get more precision with certain things. I prefer a higher weight mouse whenever I’m playing a comp shooter because I can align it with my fingers without overshooting. Probably easy to relearn a lighter mouse but I also don’t feel the money investment is worth it.
I’m thinking about 3d printing a new shell, bottom and clicks in carbon fibre for my g pro x superlight plus changing the clicks and side clicks too, would become the ULTIMATE mouse
There’s a reason a lot of gaming mice come with removable weights. The weight and design of the mouse is heavily dependent on what you’re using it for, and what your preferences are. Lighter mice aren’t always a good thing, tracking and micro adjustments are often aided by having a heavier mouse due to higher friction leading to smaller movements being easier to do. Lighter mice exceed at flicking and other large movements, so RTS and other top down games often benefit from lighter mice, as they cause less exhaustion in the arm as well as being easier to move from one side of the screen to the other. So, if you like lighter mice in general, that’s your preference, but I would be careful to generalize mice that are heavier as being worse at all tasks
I actually like the shroud edition g303. 75g, wireless and is wide so I can comfortably lay my hand on it. I have short fingers but my hand is pretty wide, so it’s a perfect fit and 75grams feels pretty good.

@@dogboy0912 No, you're so wrong.
@@kadrix732 "you're wrong" refuses to elaborate
Ah yes ,the classic gaming without the feeling of a mouse in your hand simulator
Bruh I don't get this video lol bitching about and calling out people who use weighed mice like cmon lol
Or the classic gamer excuse, im losing or bad at the game because my mouse weights 100 grams
Heavy mouses are actually most of the time better for aiming accurately the only advantage of a light mouse is moving quicker and you can still get the same thing with higher sensitivity
"we dont know what the east is up to" 😂
g602 my beloved ❤️❤️
feels like pushing a 20 pound weight around i love it
Does the slight shift in weight even do anything beneficial? I would assume it could slide basically just as good. I’ve never thought “This mouse is too heavy I need a lighter one.”
imagine being so frail you can't handle 100g like the old times where you can attach weights to a mouse
Me: Mom i want a superlight mouse
Mom: We have a superlight mouse at home

The g502 is super heavy. But I need those side buttons. I use them all.
Try checking out glorious model i
@@bl4nk493 update: bought pro X Superlight
@@volkscob how do you like it? Ive had nothing but the G502 and have been thinking about going lighter.
@@shaneinfinity4597 miss the extra buttons but it's so light. FPS flicks feel great
That's basically the last mouse I, and most would use. Even if it was free

when the wire is heavier than the mouse
Day 2 of asking Boardzy to review the Belle Delphine keyboard and mouse pack
Nah fam
Is this technoblade but actually technology?!
Honestly I think a heavy mouse is much better than companies trying to compete to make a super-light mouse, it feels repetitive and boring. Plus, they’re too sensitive to actually play games or get work done.
That looks like just about the most uncomfortable mouse I've ever seen.
It’s basically an Apple mouse from 1982
@Michael Steuart except smaller. That's the part that seems uncomfortable about it, if you've got long fingers it seems like it'd be fairly awkward to use
@@M4GG0TK1NG it does, not even suitable for browsing the internet
Me: "so you, where is the mouse that uses air instead of carbonfiber"
As someone who does both high sens and low sens gaming the weight of the g502 let’s you get more precision with certain things. I prefer a higher weight mouse whenever I’m playing a comp shooter because I can align it with my fingers without overshooting. Probably easy to relearn a lighter mouse but I also don’t feel the money investment is worth it.
You can get a top tier mouse for 50€
I use heavy mice, i've used lighter ones but couldnt get used to. Mine is the corsair M65 i think
"You'd be out of luck trying to find an lighter mouse"
*imagines an air mouse* beat that
Trackpad users: Pathetic.
Crap
"The lightest mouse in the west- We don't know what the East is up to."
Heavy mouses goat 💪
Light mouses 🤓
I like heavy mouse. When I’m gaming I want to work my wrist, if it’s not sore after 10 mins then it’s too light
I actually like the shroud edition g303. 75g, wireless and is wide so I can comfortably lay my hand on it. I have short fingers but my hand is pretty wide, so it’s a perfect fit and 75grams feels pretty good.
Hey dude, I just wanna say, not sure if you were a fan of technoblade, but I want to let you know how much you remind me of him, your humor, voice and personally are awesome! Thanks so much for your content :)
That mouse gonna break in one day when used by any average gym enjoyer
Bruh Its carbon fiber.
@@sagnikmaulik and? Carbon fiber isn’t unbreakable any thing material is gonna be weak
@@moona4180 You are not crushing it. I can crush grip up close to 200lb and i still couldn't break the model o- or superlight.
i think carbon fiber is the most lightest items are made of plus its very durable since some bicycles are made of carbon
When you slammed the g502 down I felt it.
Bro i use a 502 with all the weights and it still feels too light
Tried both 502 and 502 wireless and honestly, neither felt “heavy”
Same
Talking just about al light mouse, I used to have an office mouse that weighted around those 20 grams
As me having 5 game mouse "Deez Nuts"
I remember how just a few years ago, they came with WEIGHTS you could put in. To intentionally make it heavier.
still waiting for the air mouse to drop 🔥🔥🔥🔥
on god that 0.0001 gram weight boutta hit different 🙏 💯
