  • In this video, i will be revisiting the small workshop storage. I will be covering the changes that i have made to the workshop since the last video and why i have made these changes.
My hope is that this video can further help you (along with the original video - link below) decide on what you may require for storage in your own workshop.
However, sometimes you just have to try something to see how it works out for yourself. Please remember that this is just my opinion and i encourage you all to do some research before deciding on what you require.
    Hope you enjoy!!

I also recommend new products similar to vintage tools i use as i cannot give a link to vintage tools. I may gain a small commission when you use my links (It costs you nothing), however, the links are still here to help everyone out with tools that will get the job done.

Thats the same way i started, eventually it annoyed me enough and i started misplacing tool, so i started organising them better

I keep metal planes in a tool chest beneath the workbench, chisels in a wall mounted chisel chest, saws in a wooden box 🥴, marking and measuring tools in a drawer below my work bench, clamps hung on a wooden ladder suspended from ceiling.

Thanks for sharing Anthony. I always like hearing how others store their tools, everyone stores them slightly differently meaning there is always more to learn and integrate into my own storage. Thanks again

I like the changes! I'm currently utilising a double garage and really have no choice but to use vertical storage for tools and timber. I seem to remember you're in Perth too? Is it prohibitively hot during the warmer months in your workshop? I ask as I was thinking of erecting a shed similar to yours. Thanks for the video.

Yes, i am from Perth and it does get pretty hot in the warmer month. I do have a old portable A/C unit that i can use to help cool it down, however since my shed isn't insulated it doesn't help enough when it gets really hot. I did paint the outside of the shed white that also helped a lot. But I do mainly try to get work done in the cooler parts of the day not ideal, but i work with what i have. Hope this helps.
