Love these guys! Met them after a show in I want to day 2013? It was at Mr Smalls, Dale is a fantastic human. Buzz was awesome as well just more reserved.

One of the earliest heaviest songs written, awesome covers by Soundgarden & Kyuss are out there too but Buzz just rips the guitar so much it looks like it's gonna break
I always find it odd that The Melvins claim they were bigger fans of the Dio era of Sabbath, yet they always cover just Ozzy era songs. Wish they would perform Die Young or Voodoo!
This band should be inducted into every hall of fame for music not just because they are the most awesome band but because of what they have done for music. I swear grunge/sludge/punk is ready to explode again and the melvis will be here to see it happen again. BOOOOOOOOOOM motherfuckers.
@@GladEnthusiast Obviously. But if awards are being handed out wouldnt it be nice to give them to bands that REALLY earned it? Motherfuckers that laid the groundwork for literally generations of bands that came after them? The melvins dont NEED a pat on the pat but they fuckin deserve it.

Well played King Buzzo. Well played indeed. Great cover. Kyuss cover is great as well for those of you who are to small minded to know who Kyuss is, check them out. You will not be disappointed.

@misfitsg17 King Buzzo is a genius and one of the best musicians working today. Without him, a little band you might know called Nirvana would've never existed.

The Melvins playing Sabbath while sounding like Sleep. Fucking great.
Pretty sure Sleep sound like the Melvins.
@@svenmuller7283 Nah they had the stoner metal side of things dominated in 1989 or so, before the Melvins started incorporating it into their sound.
It always does my heart good to see how many bands were influenced by Sabbath.
We agree that this is still the heaviest song of all time
Yes
Good god...........
What a hidden gem.
A sincere thank you.
I love how they play the whole song so damn slow and then for the "Buildings crashing down" part they play in nearly-grindcore speed.
Yeah I know. Probably influenced by the original band which played it that same way.? Live anyhow ❤Cheers! from Boston, Mass.
A true Melvins cover. Can't fault them
SLOW, DEEP, AND HARD.
You're all right! every one get's an "A"
Damn good camera man.

This tour was so infamous for so many reasons. And this show especially...Damn.

Into the void needs to studied in music classes. How can a band make a song so heavy?
Dale with the vocal save in the break down! AHAhahah
EPIC COVER!
Melvins and Kyuss are the only guys who do this song justice..
and bloodgasm!@@! look up that one on youtube, its amazing
Awww. Look at a 'young' Buzzo. Was he King Buzzo back then, or Prince Buzzo?
Earl Buzzo
He was born a king, like that Edward guy whoever he was
Noo fucking way. Im so happy i found this.. so much passion, heart, and heaviness. Perfect
this is pretty much the coolest shit ever
only one band on the planet can get heavier than sabbath and its the Melvins
That bass player IS the 90's personified.
He looks more 80s skater punk than anything from the 90s.....
Could be, but Crover is grunge made flesh.
