This is fantastic. Great shots of the underbody and structure. M2 looks like it's built very well. At least M2 owners are getting something for their weight. Will be watching your videos closely.

Can confirm a gt350 has similar aero bits 😊. I was super impressed with the engineering put into the gt350 to be up there with bmw and Porsches.

I think the way the factory exhaust system is, I think you can get a custom Y downpipe and make a single exit exhaust and reduce a lot of weight if it’s all titanium

If anyone is interested, I created a video named "Giving The 2023 BMW G87 M2 Better Wheels and The Best Spoiler Wing!" Hopefully this improves the M2. I added my three favorite wheels/rims to the car, and I added the best M2 spoiler wing to the car. The wing is from the F22 M2 style because there are no new wings for the G87 M2 yet. Can't wait to see how large of wheels you can get on the M2. My E92 M3 could fit 18x10.5 square (~295 max), I have an M2 on order, and the first thing I want to do is see if it can get 18x11 square for those beefy 200tw RE71RS

No it's not - that number is basically exactly what BMW says it should weigh once you account for a full tank of gas.

F'n hell, cars nowadays are pigs when it comes to weight. And I'm not just talking about the pig-nose that the 2nd gen M4 had.
This is what happens when this boring civilization is obsessed with "environmental friendly" cars, trucks, SUVs, crossovers, and sedans. I only like fast two door coupe cars. I don't have a family, so I have no need for a sedan. It is too late to have any effect on the climate. Day After Tomorrow is already happening, and there is nothing that will stop it soon.

Why are they comparing it to a Supra? When they should be comparing it to the older platform in the M2/3/4
It look’s almost identical to the F series
Supra is a completely different platform
We’re comparing it to the supra because we’ve been doing Supra’s for the last 4 years. And it’s still a G-generation car, like the G29 Z4, but didn’t as much M-specific details as the M2 obviously
