"the man" exist less, imo not cuz of what society have become, its cuz ppl get married very late these days. most of us develop our adult mindset between 17-24. marriage comes with responsibility, and when we are set for marriage in late 20s or early 30s, its too late. what do u think someone who gets married so late is thinking about in their early years? they just having fun and goofing around, they're getting manipulated with bad ideas, so they don't have the sense that they might need to be responsible for taking care of a family and stuff. the sense of family responsibility would cause anyone with common sense to get serious about career, education, din, etc. example: u see this often when the non-muslims (internet is full of such stories) is sleeping around and end up getting a kid with a girl, all of a sudden they feel forced to change their lifestyle for their family, so he can be someone that the kid can look up to, etc, even the ufc champ kamaru usman was like this before he got his things straight.

Women don't understand the reality of violence. The same women that want men to fight for them don't realise the consequences of such violence on the streets. Yes as men we should defend our families, but sometimes running is genuinely the best option. Bring attacked is different from just fighting people on the street because they said something to your woman. But I agree with the brother here, as men we should be ready and capable of violence, but also understand when to use it.
