Mercedes E Class Disaster | Engine Failure & Seized | What Went wrong? | E250 CDI Part-2
This car came to us with engine issue. On inspecting we wound that engine is seized and one of the piston is not even moving. Therefore we took the engine out of the car and disassembled it. We found traces of car being overheat, also found many broken metal pieces in the oil chamber. After removing the crankshaft we found the one of the connecting rod had been broken damaging the engine block itself.

Thats the issue with BIG germans, even VW SKODAS.
Major repair means END OF ROAD

It's normal for all germans made past 2000s.
Specially anything older than 2015 is garbage.
These cars are dirt cheap on used market for this reason.
5-6l max for a 10yo c class 3 series
10-12l max for 10yo e class or 5 series
This car is worth 15l at most. With replaced engine even that won't be possible now. But they drive nice & definitely a keeper if you can maintain them.

One suggestion u should show the process of buying 2nd engine as well. The real challanges how sourcing new (2) engine and 2nd thing u are already covering that how ur team will match with current car
