Paco Rabanne Pour Homme made me chuckle. I blind bought a 50ml bottle because I like having classic fougeres to fall back on for dumb reaches when I'm just hanging out with the guys. When I sprayed it, I was immediately transported to every family wedding reception that I attended when I was younger. That must've been the go-to scent for a good chunk of my uncles and other older male relatives.

They may be a bit obscure now But, there was a time when those were huge names. I graduated high school in 1994. When I was a sophomore and a junior in high school, polo green was highly sought after because the girls went nuts over it. Absolutely nuts over it! It was a time tested panty dropper. You wouldn’t believe it. Nowadays, it’s gotten kind of obscure. The same can be said for Paco Rabanne signature scent. People associate that house now with bubble gum fragrances of all things. SMH.

I’m owning a few nightclubs in London, Barcelona and Rome and I’m around women daily. So what I learned is that their weakness of chocolate, also extend to their liking of smell, thus you should use sweet cologne like Paco’s Millions , Creed or Versace Eros. Don’t over do it, but as a rule of thumb, if a woman closetalk to u like at the bar, she should be able to pick up the fragrance. I have had a lot of women commenting on the sweet ones, but very seldom when I’m using very “musky/ pepperish “ fragrances . I know the ones I mentioned are very popular, so perhaps try some lesser known ones if you want to stand out.. otherwise Great channel.. I have learned a lot, even though I’m closing in on 50 in a few years...

Thank you for posting, quite a few you mentioned are in my collection. Couple observations from my very non complex nose. Love Polo green always a classic woods scent, just added Eau Savage and I really like it. I find it to be a citrus scent but the dry down tends to be kind of a soapy clean smell. Yatagan this is unique, but I get an incense like when I was alter boy in church to me it smells like that. I also enjoy Yuzu and Le3 both from House of Caron like Yatagan , and I tried the Pour Homme maybe I got a bad batch but to me it smells just like Playdoo :( and I really wanted to like this cologne based on the nostalgia I just couldn't get it.
Lastly, I picked up the Guerlain Vetiver, definitely not for the fait of heart. However, I gave it a couple tries and I love this scent. Once the initial "harshness" dries down it smells complex with vetiver and leather I even get a touch of tobacco definitely not a kids scent but for me an older guy its great.

so... interesting thought. you've already done a crossover with jeremy, and since he changes a lot, and you're more of a stable, consistent guy, periodic crossovers between the both of you would bring about a solidly fun mechanic.
a fragrance crossover with demi rawling - she's got a very smoky, sweet, aromatic, gourmandy feminine personality. sensual. put together. the interactions between your personalities would be well worth it.
i find it very important to constantly educate myself on fragrances - i do monitor trends, look for outliers, see the rationale behind the juices, and i'm always looking for squeezing out that extra 3-5% in response.
    thanks as always!

@ Aaron Lang. In Australia in the 1960s I used to make a good liquid soap from pure high quality USA sourced Pine Oil as well as one from locally grown Eucalyptus Oil. I sold many gallons of the soap to the abattoir in the Victoria gold mining city of Ballarat. While its prime use was to prevent infection, the pine oil version was very popular because of the pleasant residual aroma. Last century there were several male fragrances that incorporated pure pine oil, which has a very light perfume similar to the smell of Old Spice. I do not know what fragrances are sold in the USA, but it may be fun for you to investigate, because a change is as good as a holiday. Phil.

Some of those I haven't tried ... However most seem more of a winter fall based on the notes. Creed Aventus is the one that is a panty dropper for women and like catnip for men.. I wear what I like to me frgrances are about how I'm feeling that day and based on , work , weather , and season and mood . Rob you did have some good ones on here. Once again great content.

These fragrances are really masculine. Never tried Kouros or Yatagan though.

About twenty years ago Kouros used to have an outstanding very attractive smell. But since they've reformulated, it smells so nauseating I wouldn't wear it for free, leave alone buying it.
Antonio is almost zero on fragrances.

@@JPBotero717 Polo smells extremely synthetic in current formula and i assume it is overpriced, Paco Rabanne is nice but also has a synthetic base, it is cleaner and easier to wear than Quorum, and is overally built better than Polo and smells more natural. It is also sweeter than the two. Quorum has the most character and still to me lasts some good 6 - 8 hours on skin, on a flannel shirt way more

I really like how you display your collection. Can you do a video on how to properly display a fragrance collection. Then tag your fellow reviewers on how they display theirs? I love the bottles themselves. They are works of art. After so many are accumulated I think a guy should look to display them in a classy way.

Hey, I own lots of cologne's but for the younger audience, you might want to do a video with cologne's that are commonly bought and how to select from that category. Not sure what the analytics say about your audience. But the younger crowd may have trouble going to Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Saks for some of these fragrances.
