Es ist gut so , dass mit Motorfest eine Spielmarke präsentiert wurde die sich ähnlich wie Forza Horizon spielt .
Es freut mich für die Sony Gamer .
Zumal es auch ein Konkurrenz Produkt ist und ich hoffe , dass Forza Horizon 6 besser wird als sein Vorgänger in Mexiko .

Been playing that 5 hour trial. Sick game, lovely graphics and the cars handle better than I expected. I’m probably gonna cop it, it’s good fun, especially the playlists

I been playing the crew 2 since it came out and the crew motorfest is a big improvement bro😂. The handling, the simple burnout and 360 burnout, the car actually feel like it’s on the ground (heavy) the graphics obviously way better! The smoke, tire, interior, road, exterior just look so much more real. It feels like a upgraded nfs unbound also 🤷♂️ just a ps5 player opinion. I just got the game today and played non stop except to play nfs unbound to compare
I never played forza so I can’t compare but I’ve played two of the latest nfs and the crew 2. motorfest just outdo them both. All of them are still great til this day tho.
This game is so much insane. I got standard edition and bought my first cars Revuelto and Sian and maxed out their performance playing all night. Now the game feels even more beast with such powerful cars I can feel their heaviness with all the feedback and vibrations from controller

What settings/assists do I need to have on/off on controller? I played a ton of the crew 1 but only a tad of the crew 2. Motorfests handling feels baaaaad for some reason
IMO, Ubi have always done well with specifically driving games. Driver San Francisco will always be a favourite of mine. Even the other crew games were okay

I'll be giving this a trial run today and see if I like it, worry that the playlist stuff gets too forced in but does look cool. I never played a Crew Game but been a fan of the Horizon series for years.

I did what it said to do which is download the full game and the trial will start when you launch it. However it just tells me I don’t own the game.
I like the open world so I can chill and take photos with my buddy.

Mainly because I don't like when you start with luxurious cars and the playlist throw more cars at you just to spoil you. I remember NFS Underground 2 where I started with a Peugeot 206. I tuned this car as much as I could with the money I had and took part in races. I really loved this car because I had to earn everything. Nowadays they just throw lamborghinis at you -.-
Good point and it definitely feels a bit weird no matter how often games do it to you nowadays. I feel like it always depends on which type of story they are trying to convey. A zero-to-hero angle should never have high-class cars right away, but games like this, where the focus doesnt lie on single progression can get away with it somewhat. - Marvin.
My experience with The crew Motorfest - played for a few hours, didn't find it engaging enough, refunded the game just to realise I could've just downloaded the demo. Bought Arma 3 and Phantom liberty with less than the money Motorfest costs.
The Wheel Support in this Game is so so good, I just love it ❤
This game has no business being as good as it is. Sure, it still has its minor flaws, but it does so many things right. And I think people will see it better once they play more, because there's all sorts of small clever ideas other devs should take notice.
One that I haven't seen any review point out is how exactly the Rewind system works. On the betas and the early access, I found it strange that it requires you to hold the button to flash back, but then I've played the Summit part of it and then it became clear why.
For those who have not played previous The Crew games, Summit is a collection of activities you do to be placed in global leaderboards, which are all based on time. And you can still use Rewind on them... ***but using the function in this game DOESN'T PAUSE OR REWIND THE TIMER***. It just keeps going even while you're rewinding.
This is borderline genius: that means you can still use it to your heart's content in single player, as it will effectively function as in any other arcade/simcade game with the feature, but using it too much in the Summit or when trying to get a good place on leaderboards will hurt you.
And it will hurt you a lot, because when you think about it, it's the same as receiving a big time penalty even after correcting the mistake you've made. If you use the Rewind button to correct yourself, you'll probably rewind at least 3-4 seconds, often more depending on how long you take to decide to Rewind. There's games where cutting corners or the pit line don't penalize you with that much time.
issue is that on the summit people use a "reset" method where they crash into a wall after passing into a checkpoint, if timed properly by the time you pass that cp you'll instantly respawn in the right direction and shit, it's one thing that i truly hate in the summit ngl
but yeah i love what they've done and the little things they did (that some don't like) like not making the ai invisible when doing a feat like in FH, i always hated that, it takes you out and doesn't create risk, this week summit feature an escape on the highway, luck is involved sure but hell when i finally made it to the top 5000 after 20+ attempts i was so happy
This game to me is what FH5 should have been, i still wish that they get rid of that trashy upgrade system and put something similar to forza + tuning functions of FH as well cuz there is a lot that lack currently, but again, i still love the game despite the flaw's

I think the main thing they need to fix is how many players can be on the map with you, 7 honestly isn’t enough, I like having random impromptu races with people like I could in TC2, it’d be nice if there was at least 20 so you could have car meets too, (not like the feature that doesn’t really have much variety in cars)

definitely ! i came back to FH yesterday and the amount of people i saw and raced or just cruised with was mental in the span of 20 minutes i encountered a dozen players, in TCM if i meet ONE i'm like WOW ... that's imo the main reason the open world feel so "useless" to a lot of people.

This game is mint, if anyone doesn’t have it yet, buy it, you will not be disappointed.
Oh they definitely will be. By Ghost cars and loaned cars in races and not being able to actually use any of your cars.

Spiele die Testversion und bin enttäuscht von Motorfest .
Grafik / FPS unter 30 / dazu Geisterautos / schwammige Steuerung und ich ziehe keinen Vergleich zum langweiligen Forza Horizon 5 ( FH4 und FH3 sind Besser als FH5 und als Motorfest ) .
Motorfest total überhypt von YT Kanälen , die bezahlt werden vom Entwickler für die Werbung des Spiels .
Unglaubwürdig .
Spiel mag interessant sein für PS4 / PS 5 Gamer , weil man kein FH spielen kann .
Bin kein Online Gamer .

its very different, you just look at game covers to distinguish them dont you. Gameplay is different, progression is different, some will prefer horizon, some (like me) prefer the crew motorfest (to horizon 5 at least), and Ive played hundreds of hours of Horizon.
@@terencecaron2922 Sure there are differences. But a car festival in an exotic location, even the booths and stages look the same. The premise is exactly the same, but with different driving and some gameplay mechanics.

Curious what the bikes are like to ride? Always keen for an open world bike game, but not many games get bike handling right if they aren't dedicated bike games...
This game actually does bikes surprisingly well. They feel heavy and the physics are there. It feels like the rider has weight as he shifts to different sides of the bike. Acceleration in turns caused the bike to understeer. Etc etc. Honestly, I'm impressed!
I think the open world video would be interesting if you could compare some of the older titles like test drive unlimited or even midnight Club LA. There is a lot of history that could be taken into account.
It's kind of Ironic to bring it up around the Crew, because Ubisoft is arguably the most responsible for destroying the reputation of open world action games.

How do you turn off the challenges on the top left on ps5?
go to the menu (double press start), its in gameplay I think, you can turn off every type of notification
@@terencecaron2922 their pinned challenges you have to go to challenges then just pin a random challenge then click it again to remove it. but I did try your way and it didn’t remove it initially. I never played the crew before so maybe maybe already knows about pinned challenges.
I have only done the liberty walk playlist. But you guys are saying every playlist has loaned cars? So I don’t get to use my free roam ride on most races? If that’s the case that’s a HUGE miss.
Ya I completed 2 playlists in the free trial and was always in loaned cars. It's quite unfortunate.
After u complete them, then u can use yours own cars

@@charliesilveston6233 Huge L being stubborn, the game is giving you cars to try out to make you want to buy them and try cars you wouldn't in the first place. It's more refreshing than driving the same op car 24/7 like in forza. In addition, the narrative fits in with what you're driving for each playlist xd

I agree with you in the most parts but having played 40 hours so far i will have to disagree that the map is empty. When you finish a playlist you then have access to the challenges such as the collectables where you have to actually drive and explore to collect them and many other things. Finally there is a good and fun racing game to enjoy except forza
Feel like they could really nail it if their next game had a more serious backstory and took place somewhere like Japan

This game definitely gives forza 5 some competition. It is not boring at all. A more fun arcade experience but still realistic. I am playing the 5 hour free trial and i must say i am very impressed and i might have to go head and make the purchase. I am enjoying it. No cons yet. The pros outweigh the cons, yes. For me at least.

First I'll state I usually am not a fan of driving games. But I was bored and downloaded the trial. And I had so much fun I bought it. 2023 I'm playing a driving game and having fun....never thought it would happen lol. But its a good game.

I debating whether to buy this or need for speed unbound. Mainly looking for a game to drive around with my favorite cars in open world.
Unbound has a 10x better story, more arcade-y physics, anime looking characters (if you're into that type of stuff), and a police system like every other need for speed
Motorfest has crazy graphics, a shitton of cars, and a varying map, variety of vehicle outside of normal cars, multiple types of racing (like f1, rally, etc)
I'd say motorfest cuz it has more replay value in my opinion but its ur money

Idk why people are saying the customization of cars is bad!!! It’s better than forza aero and the dodge challenger has 5 different OEM wheel options when you buy it! That kicks ass!!!
This game should have either waited or released earlier this year. With Forza and WRC coming out real soon, I am not going to have time for this. Plus I already have Horizon 4 and 5.
Horizon 4 and 5 is pretty old games now, and many have already done much of what it has to offer, for me i am pretty bored of them so crew motorfest is Welcome, forza motorsport is different style of racing game so i doubt it will even be an issue
Debating weather or not to get this game it’s a shame they don’t have police chases or a custom shop to mod cars apart from that tho it looks better than forza 5

I was hoping to find out how much you can drive carelessly in this game. I dislike Forza Horizon for being too much of 'game game' and not enough mmo where you can endless cruise around the place.
Imo this is most important about these big open world games. Sure the game itself is important as well, but if I wanted to buy a proper sim, I would have bought a race simulator. If I wanted to buy a arcade racer, I would have bought a good racing game arcade style.
Hopefully you will tell us another time more about those 10% 'uninteresting' stuff but that's what makes these kind of games unique :)
Yeah that is somewhat my problem with it. The open world is just a non-factor and people like you who are interested in the implementation of it are often left with a sour taste in their mouth. Having said that its not an uncommon thing anymore and thats what bugs me. - Marvin

Despite being a similar size, the TCM map seems much better than FH5 since you often find yourself sticking to the roads to get from point A to B. In FH5 you just aim for the destination and fly across the landscape in your supercar. Being more mountainous works in TCM's favour. Of course you can just switch to a plane to get places quicker if you desire.
Ok, so obviously this is not a sim racing title, but why is there all of 2 seconds talking about how this feels on a wheel, or even about the handling and physics? I know it's arcadey in terms of damage and whatnot, but when you're actually driving around on asphalt or dirt and not running into stuff does it actually feel good to drive? Why, why not? Can I just drive around in the open world and have a good time just cruising? I can get a standard video game review from SO MANY other sources, but I'd expect a different perspective from a channel that primarily focuses on motorsport.
I love the game, but if you're the kind to never play without a wheel, it aint the right game. Its more on the arcade than sim style, even without assist. I saw multiple racing game streamers try wheel and they had a pretty bad time. You gotta see it as a pure chill entertainment game, with a bit of challenge if you want.

I've gotten about 40 hours in so far and the biggest let down to me is one you finish all the playlists, thats kind of it. Only "new" things are grand races and summits. Once you finish a playlist it opens up some photo stuff and collection stuff which will add a ton of extra game play but its also sort of pointless. The donut playlist has like 100 collectables art pieces. So you go to a part of the map, drive around buildings and shit and collect them. No racing, no times just free roam. Summit can be done in an hour or so. Not a ton of content really. The grind for the cars is a lot and most of them are street cars. like 80% of them......Good game, but not great. I'll check in once a week for summits but thats about it. Decent bridge till FM comes out. 6/10

It doesn't really have rubber banding. The AI is scripted the same exact way forza horizon does it - it's stronger and pushes more at the beginning of the race, then somewhere around middle becomes much slower to let player past even if you are already in front. But you can pull away from AI very easly if you drive without to many mistakes.
Overall the game is massive improvement over Crew2. Physics are much better than crew2 and more detailed than FH5. Grip on different surfaces is spot on, and with PS5 controller haptic feedback you can feel tires super well. Cars finally have weight. Steering wheel turns past 180 degrees. Sounds are great. Playlists are more interesting than FH5 races, with more variation. Optimization on PC could be better though. And there's not much to do in the endgame, just like in FH5.
Need to play more but seems like a Forza Horizon clone. Not a bad thing especially if you’re a PlayStation gamer. Too much talking while I’m racing IMO

Nice video, but you have made one critical error. You didn't do a good job with really showing off the motor cycles that the crew has and forza Still doesn't have them. That's a very big thing for the motorcycle fans out there! But other than that very nice video.

I'm really shocked people find Motorfest handling good... Didn't they play Wreckfest, Driver SF or old GRID/DIRT series? Motorfest is bad even as arcade! Because even arcade must have some physics.
PS. We really need bring back some plot into racing games. Like NFS Most Wanted or The Run. Or even The Crew 1!

First impressions... it wont let me edit gamepad controls, at all... like AT ALL....thanks Crew Motorfest, the intro looks good but im not batttling your system to play it. Wouldnt cost much dev time to add edit controls, if you wont bother neither will I, uninstalled.

Looks like they haven't learned anything from TDU, they just took the location and that's it. Shame. At least I'm glad to see it's a decent game. Could be worse.

This looks cool, but I’m not a fan of online always games. With Forza’s Eventlab, FH5 will remain my racing game for years to come. I will probably postpone FM because Eventlab is that great.
What's even more boring than empty open space in the real world? Empty open spaces in a game world. Enough already. Fill them up. I'm tired of trying to mentally fill in why it's 'logical' for a world to be so empty. It never bloody works.
Funnily enough, at 2:13, you can find a similar level of graphics in most racing games from the last 4-5 years. I'd even go so far as to say the graphics in Forza Horizon 3 from 2016 are on par or even better.
The game would have been so much better if it was only made for current gen rather than last gen consoles. Even on pc the graphics are meh and the side and interior mirrors don't work on any platform 😂
So I would disagree with that a lot. On the slimmer graphics settings it of course looses some detail but maxed out the game is really good looking. But you have to consider this is recorded, rendered and uploaded so there are many layers of obstruction. While directly playing you see the difference. - Marvin

Not a perfect game, but it's definitely better than what Forza gives me in terms of entertainment.
The game isn't trying to cater to someone like me so I expected to go into the trial and not like it and that's fine. However, a 60fps cap on PC in 2023 is inexcusable.
Forza Motorsport will be too, but only online. Forza Horizon you are faster with higher frames. Yeah it is embarrassing.

I would not recommend this if you are on PC. AT all. Its capped at 60fps and omg does it feel like it. I have one of those larger 120hz monitor/tv screens for my racing sim and the game looks and feels like absolute trash. I run everything at max/ultra graphics in 4K and my frames 99% of the time never move off 60 and if it does, it drops to 59 for a split second in large races. Its so fuzzy and blurry I cant believe this is a 2023 release. Not to mention at those settings I think Forza horizon 2 or 3 looks better than this game on PC. I showed my friends in game screenshots and didn't tell them this was from Crew Motorfest and they thought it was and old horizon game or roblox mod. I had to stream it because they wouldn't believe it ...I tried to lower my monitor to the lowest settings and turn it down to 60fps and its the same story. Console is a different story from what I can tell. But I would try the free trial while you can and see what I mean. I regret paying for this game. Maybe they will release some updates down the road for PC folks but im not holding my breath. I bet we are stuck at 60 frames. I was excited for this game. But it gives me an actual headache/eye strain driving around and the scenery just blurs. I might borrow a friends little tiny monitor and see if playing on a super small screen makes the pixles loox better. But if you have a high end, larger monitor and run this on PC you can almost see the blocky pixels. If anyone has a fix or a suggestion im all ears.

Im happy to see Forza Horizo competition and that will push playground games to do even better. That being said they really need to work on the actual driving in the game. Cars do not feel good to drive
