I loved that line Darth Krayt said. He was a former Jedi Master, whose Sith master, XoXaan, was another former Jedi Master. One created the Sith Order, while the other reformed it.
There can't be no light without darkness. Even when the Jedi have brought an end to the Sith, the new seeds for the Sith appear from within. This shows that the Light and Dark side are inherent parts of everything.
It also gives support to the idea that the force is one and the dark and light are two sides of the same coin and both part of it
Yes it’s fascinating how one of the first dark lords trained the last Sith. I’m curious what xoxaan thought of the rule of one

It is interesting that most, if not all, Sith that defend the importance of the organization as a whole rather than the individual were all fallen Jedi: the First Sith Lords from this video, Skere Kaan and his Brotherhood of Darkness, Count Dooku and Darth Krayt and his One Sith.
@@lisboah interesting maybe she would have. I just asked because I know later dark lords like bane nihilus etc chastise krayt heavily for abandoning the rule of two. I’d think tyranus would also have disapproved. I think the rule of two is good in principle preventing the infighting that doomed the Sith of the past, and concentrating the dark side in only the most powerful worthy individuals and allowing the Sith to remain clandestine. Krayts rule of one seems like it goes back to the risk of infighting and assumes all krayts subordinates will obey his authority without question which seems unlikely
@@aamirrazak3467 From what I read and saw in videos, Darth Tyranus saw the Rule of Two as no longer useful once the Sith were to create the Empire. He wanted to create a new Sith Order with several members, one which Anakin Skywalker would be part of, which would pretty much be a Dark Side version of the Jedi Order. In other words, another version of Skere Kaan's Brotherhood of Darkness.
Same thing with Darth Krayt's One Sith.

Ah the ancient Sith are so interesting and have a neat history, nice work as always! The Jedi really created their own problems by exiling and fighting any who opposed their beliefs, i.e Xendor the dark Jedi exile etc
And let's not forget how they pretty much pushed both Kreia, Dooku and Anakin towards the Dark Side.
True, but there are times where the sith attacked them also(like alot of times), so both sides are at fault, dont just point the finger at the Jedi(: one more reason, why this universe is so great(:
@@Rackhark Yes, both sides are to be blamed.
However, the Sith openly admit that they relish on conflict, that they let their darkest emotions empower them and their actions are guided by said emotions.
The Jedi, on the other hand, claim themselves as defenders of peace and justice, but they are self-rightseous, intolerant of others and will even resort to violence to have their way.
The Sith are the greater evil, but the Jedi sometimes are nearly an evil hidden as good.
@@lisboah yes they made it hard on Anakin and never seemed to support him or encourage him, Windu especially. Kreia and Dooku saw their arrogance and how they were narrow minded about certain things and left them. Same with Revan
@@Rackhark I’m not saying the Sith are any better lol it’s just that the Jedi are far from perfect. Both have issues. That’s why I like Luke’s new Jedi order from the EU and the je’daii

Which books would I find all these stories in?
The info is spread throughout lots of different sources, you can get a basic overview in the Book of Sith and Jedi vs. Sith Essential Guide, but you have to go to various different sources like games, books and comics for specific info about each of the Original Sith Lords.
