Please talk to your dad on the importance of using counter weights when using the front end loader.
Really cool, Abbs!😄
The box blade is an excellent counter weight and if her dealer is any good they put liquid ballast in the rear tires.
@@rustyrogue yes, so long as the box blade is attached to the tractor though.
don't forget that when you move heavy stuff with the bucket you'll need weight in the back
You will figure out the tractor. Any girl that can do all the work you have will not let a tractor stop her!!!
Hi love your new toy
You'll be surprised how quickly you become comfortable operating your new toy. 😊
I love it. You are in over you head and you still go in and do it and you kill it. Remember your first video and you didn't even know how to use a crowbar. And you rebuilt a house. So proud of you Abby
So proud of you! You are women hear you roar!!!!
Girllll You will NEVER regret buying that Kubota tractor ! soo proud of you
Abby I’m a 69 year old handy woman! I do all the lawn and barn and housework. My husband has MS and has been unable to help much at all for the last 8-10 years!
Absolutely leave your bucket on! You will use it everywhere on your property! We had big hooks welded on the top edge of the bucket and that is SO, So helpful for moving things! You can use a chain and move almost anything! I definitely would take off the box blade, more sporadic use. CZcams, of course, is an excellent tool for your tractor questions! Love it!
Continue on learning, I learn new skills every day! Take care!
Keeping one shed to put your tractor, its parts and all your tools, winter storage of patio furniture, etc would be awfully convenient. Congrats on getting a tractor/mower that does multiple jobs!
Just remember that the Kubota guy is only a phone call away and you can be with the tractor while he's talking you through anything you need help with.
Be sure to grab a picture of all the serial numbers on the tractor and attachments, for security/insurance. When I mow I leave the front bucket off and remove the box blade, makes it much easier to manuever. Another thing I do, besides checking oil each time and greasing it regularily, is to blow off the dust and grass before you put it away. Last thing I'd mention is that your bucket is for lifting not pushing, they're just not strong enough to be a bull dozer.
guess you need a battery powered weedwacker, leaf blower, and a place to plug them in! Yes hide the tractor, it's a beauty!!!
She’s a real pretty tractor! And you’re a real lucky girl! Congratulations!!!
Abby that Kubota is right up your alley, for your space.
😎🇺🇲🇵🇷🇲🇽 Now you have to get a small trailer for the back of tractor So you can slip down your dad's and get lumber, anytime you need 'em!!! You go girl, And watching you from the very start, never had a doubt that you couldn't do it all😊
Those box blade tines can be flipped over so it wont gouge the ground. That would be the way you would use the box blade when you only want to smooth the ground. The tines are usually used when you want to break up the dirt.😊
Congratulations Abby. Kubota is a reliable tractor. When you use the loader, the heavy loads wil cause th back to raise up without any weight on the back. Enjoy your new TOY.
"Congratulations" Abby on your new tractor!! I do say...THAT was a "SMART" PURCHASE FOR YOU!!!! PLZ PLZ Talk to your Dad about the counter weighs for the front & back before you start carrying stuff on the front of it!!!...I love it & YOU WILL TOO!!!! God Bless A Drill & A Dream
Take the excess equipment off. Mowing will be much easier without it. And read the comment below about counter weights. Once you learn how to remove the extra equipment you will find it's not so hard to put it back on. Where will you be keeping this tractor to protect it from the elements?
Duke Earl, Baron and Bill are going to be jealous!
Don't forget Lady and Ken! And upcoming Brie, and the little bundle Lady has on board!
I've admired you all along being a single woman who is making home owners dream come true but it just shot up even higher since you purchased that tractor 🚜. Go abbey!
Single but with several men to help and advice as well as lots of $
I love all the positive comments y’all have for our girl Abby she rocks whatever she tries and does 👍up looking forward to seeing more videos
Abby is a diamond in the rough. She was raised right and is so fun to watch.
Having owned a Kubota for many years, I would highly recommend removing the box blade. Most of the driveway smoothing tasks a box blade was designed for can just as easily be done with the front end loader. The main use I found for my box blade was as a counterweight when I was lifting very heavy loads with the front end.
Your roof line is awesome! Instead of wood timbers, hv u thought of large (but workable with heavy machinery or someone you may know with beautiful strong work horses ) 😉. They will last forever and be natural looking. Instead of pots, how about a arborvitae row for privacy? Gurl, slow down, focus on finishing that gorgeous house of yours YOU designed and worked so hard on, ponder on these ideas with landscaping especially considering you haven’t lived there yet and given her a trial run…lol. Ignore that eastern urge we have to landscape this time of year. Your living your best life! 🌸
Before you ask, most Kubota tractor sold in the US are nade in Gainesville Georgia
You mean, most SMALLER Kubota tractors are made in Gainsville, The bigger ones we make here in Jefferson :)
Good choice of first tractor. If you keep up with the maintenance it's going to last you a lifetime. One bit of advice, when you are done with the tractor make sure to lower all of the hydraulic parts, overtime the seals and O-rings will wear out, this will help to make them last longer and if one were to fail and say a cat was to be napping under the bucket he would have a very bad day when it comes crashing down on his little 😊.
I would put my garden in front of sheds. In that open space good sunlight there.
Congrats on your new tractor🚜You deserve a break & it’s going to make your life so much easier yay!
I think you should store it at your dads. Thats only a mile or less away isn't it? It sort of sticks out. What a great machine!
There goes Bill,Barron and Jim. Congrats on the new tractor
You’re so gutsy to film your first try. 👍🏻💪🏻
So exciting! A new toy!! And so useful and practical!! You'll need something like that for snow removal too!!
Based on the awesome machine the BIL has, you did well to buy orange!!
Knowledge comes from experience. You are doing fine, a true homeowner. Be sure to get a cover to keep your brand new tractor protected and keep reading the manual!
You will enjoy your Kubota. I had mine for 1 year. It has made taking care of my 3 + acres so much easier
Girl! You NEED a garage now! I"m so jealous.
Congratulations new tractor owner. You will have it down too a tea in no time.😊
Honey, you have MORE than proven you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to! The tractor will be easy once you get the hang of it!
Ahh! My brother-in-law used to work for a long time for Kubota at their warehouse in France. He said it was funny because the only common language of the French and Japanese workers was English and none of them were fluent in it so they had to use a lot of mixed language with French and English and Japanese, lol, so he got pretty good at basic Japanese working there.
You'll be a pro at using that tractor, in no time!
You could plant juniper trees next to the deck to obscure the barn
I would place the garden in the area in front of the sheds you are going to remove. It is already semi leveled and probably better soil than the rocky stuff in the back yard.
Also, congrats on the new tractor! You will be amazed at how many jobs it will come in handy for.
Even with our 100hp tractor and loader - we take the bucket off all the time when farming. Its so easy to just hook the bucket up when you need it and its so much easier to see and work without it on. And yes taking the whole loader off, while easy to do, yes makes it too easy to skip jobs because its a nuisance to put the loader on and off. But the bucket is a non-issue. Good luck.
A GORGEOUS property!!! Beautiful!!! 🥰🎶❤️🎶🌻🌻🌻🏡🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Oh, my, in the store it looked rather small but when delivered, it looks pretty big. You can easily do it though. My friend in Kentucky rebuilt an old doctor’s house with about 50 acres and she has a regular Ford tractor that she hops on and goes. So, don’t you just love it? With your working full time and when the sun is really, really hot, it will be a true blessing.
Nice looking tractor Abby
Amazing! You will use that tractor and the attachments alot around your home. Smart purchase!
Abby I would park your new tractor behind the house so it doesn’t get stolen. Something that nice and expensive would get stolen easily! It wouldn’t be seen from behind the house from the road.
Awesome drone footage Abby
I'm so happy that you got a new toy that is exciting and extremely useful. Please, take the time to let your Dad teach you about driving it on slopes and going up and down hills, especially if you are carrying a load. You're going to be moving those big rocks in no time!
😊welcome to another level of home ownership Abbey! 😅 your dad will be happy to not have to haul his equipment over there as often.. you can do it 😊
Congrats, please, please, please keep the Machine in a Shed, out of direct weather. Doing this will add Life to the Machine and reduce Maintenance costs. Also, be on the look out for Bird Nests, Mice Nests, Squirrel Damage, Etc. 😃
I have a lot of relatives in Potsdam NY. I remember vacationing there in the summer on a big farmhouse with outhouses and rain barrels. Happier times 😊❤
When you park the tractor be sure to put the bucket and or scraper down on the ground.
Hi Abby from our ⛵⛵ Lakes Region New Hampshire farm. We choose an oversized double carport. It cost around 2K in 2018. You could place it lengthwise on your expanded parking spot to pull vehicles underneath, as well as the tractor. Also, being next to the patio area, it would be a great place to put a picnic table and have shade or be out of the rain on a misty day. We love ours. It was cost effective and does a good job of keeping the snow off our vehicles. We made our carport about 2 1/2 vehicles wide with a good clearance height to the roof. ~ Diane
Enjoy that tractor. What fun!
Abby, it’s so pretty back there. You NEED that big barn next door! Good luck and I can’t wait to see what you do. So excited!
Congratulations on picking the Kubota 🧡. Excellent choice 😃
You will not regret having that tractor! We have a kubota with a loader and back hoe. My husband even plows snow with the bucket. He is over here saying to put the scraper on some 4x4s in the shed and encouraging you to practice and you will get the hang of all the things in no time.
Congrats on your tractor, just be mindful when operating, I have been on tractors for 40 or so years and even so I have still found myself in situations that can be dangerous to say the least and potentially fatal at worst.
Thankfully there are hours and hours of helpful videos online now that can get you oriented with your equipment and help you avoid making the most common mistakes.
God Bless and best wishes!
Congrat on the tractor. It will really come in handy for you. Good choice.
Prepare yourself a shed or building to keep the Kubota in. You can’t let it sit outside.
You will LOVE that tractor. You can get so much done with it.
Perfect choice! I wish I could justify buying one. I would love a mini excavator too!
You made a lifetime purchase, that Kubota will serve you very well. I think it's perfect for your needs. Counter weight the rear and keep your bucket as low as possible.
KC
Abby that tractor is a beaut! You did a fantastic job for your first time on it! Way to go! This is exciting to watch and I know it's got to be exciting for you. I loved the drone footage! Have a beautiful blessed night. 🙏
It's awesome to own your own tractor congrats to you Abby 👍
So happy for your new tractor! You’ll get it mastered and find all kinds of work for it. ❤
You did a great job, one thing to remember if you don’t have to back up don’t. Try to go forward even if you have to make another pass, the tractor will last much longer by not constantly changing gears. Obviously you will have to back up but just a tip. It will also last longer if you don’t have too many people driving it.
Nice purchase! Glad you got yourself a gift. You deserve it. Love the videos!!
i laughed when ya said ya don't remember what he said...awwww Abby, you're so cute. the lawn will be such a huge improvement to look out at everyday ,tidy is the key.and great choice of purchase...❤
You look good on your tractor! Should be a yellow knob under seat area to twist so box scraper won't drop but deck will. You got this.
Tractors are life changers!!!! You’re gonna love it! But you gotta give it a name . I suggest ginger because of her great color!
Congrats!! Good size choice. You will be very productive with that tractor. Yeah 🎉🎉
Hi Abby, you have made the right choice. Love from Belgium.👍
Great choice of tractor. I have a Kubota BX 23 that I bought new 16 years ago. Never had any problems with it . Glad to see you fasten your seatbelt!!! I have a backhoe on mine. Another wonderful attachment. If you take the box blade off you will either have to add weight on the rear or run in 4WD all the time. If you don't when you start downgrade with front bucket loaded, the rear wheels will start sliding, and that is very DANGEROUS !!! Please be careful. It's not a toy !! Stay safe and God bless you !!!! Eddy
Get it girl!! Congrats on the amazing addition.
Way to go Abby! I burst out laughing when in I saw the pic of your tractor because you really need one for your acreage. The funny part is you’ve never dreamt of being a Kabota model but it works!!
Congratulations on your new purchase , and that blade in the back will help you keep your driveway clean and level !!
Congrats on your new tractor! How fun! Now you have to name her 😂 our John Deere lawn tractor I named Skog (it means forest in Norwegian…by the time we mow, the 2 acres are basically a forest 😂🤣).
Hello ABBY,
You must have one great job.
Get a photo of the area at a scale of 1/8 per foot. Lay out all the features that are there. You now have something you can add or tear down, and add to.
Abby, yipee on the tractor, you will get the hang of it soon. Love, love it.
Awesome job, Your Dad and Jay will be able to continue your education on the new tractor. Probably not William so much, but he is a sweetheart. 😊
Great choice, Abby! You'll be a pro in no time ❤
You go girl! You got it going on! Lady power!
Loving every moment of this! Now KUBOTA, will have to start sponsoring your videos 😋 You go Abbey! 🙏💗😃
Abby, you can raise the rakes or take off instead of removing the scrapper. Always fold your bucket forward and place it on the ground when parked. It will keep the water from collecting in your bucket. Also lower the scrapper when parked. Takes the load off your hydraulics. Safety factor also if kids are around.
That's an amazing tractor. Those attachments will make everything easier. Hope you got an excellent deal on the package.
You'll get the hang of it. It all takes time. Just a side note if you don't have a ballast box you're probably going to want to keep that box blade on most of the time if you're doing loader work. Otherwise it could get a little light in the back end. Also if you're doing loader work put it in four-wheel drive and keep it in low. Also if you get a chance get pallet forks for it Those things are a game changer. Anyway that's the end of my unsolicited advice. Enjoy your new tractor there's tons of videos on CZcams to watch about it. And they're awesome little machines.
Tractor is really nice. You should be able to pull an pin an raise the plow points on the box blade so they do not cut into your lawn
For sure take the box blade off when mowing. When you lift and lower the mower deck it also lowers the rear 3 point hitch (the box blade) which may cause it to drag behind on the ground.
Tip for the front end loader. Get a couple pallets and stack them up. Then lower your bucket on to the pallets. Then use the quick connect to disconnect the bucket. Having it up off the ground will make it much easier to remove and install. Taking the bucket off will help you get so much more clearance when mowing.
I’m jelly I want a new Kubota. Maybe next year happy mowing.
You have a long way to go on the tractor but you have a great attitude and that helps tremendously. Take the box blade off to mow and at least the bucket if not the entire loader. In time you'll learn about zero turns and then you'll never use that mid mount mower again. A box blade is a great tool AND a great counter weight. Put it on whenever you want to lift anything heavy with the loader.
Your tractor looks very nice. I think it will really enjoy it so keep up the good work and I will keep fortune. God bless.
Great purchase. You can't go wrong buying a kabota tractor. Keep up the maintenance on it it will last for a very long time. Just remember it burns diesel not gas. You mastered rebuilding a house you will master the tractor. Great video.
Welcome to the Kubota world!
You are going to love using your new tractor. Once you figure out everything you can do, you will wish you had gotten a bigger one.
Congratulations on your new tractor!
Box Blade is golden tool No1. for any tractor, congrats! good!
Nice job 👏 👍 👌
Kubota is a great tractor and I've heard they are very eager to help. You're doing all this stuff and yet you're such a girlie, girl! I think that's why everyone is attracted to your videos! I'm a retired female semi truck driver, 5' 3" and on the chunky side. I was a stay at home wife and mom but in our 50's my husband presented me with an idea, lets learn to drive a big rig and travel, the kids were all grown so that sparked my challenge gene and off we went to school, while running our own business from home. After 12 years on the road it was time. Enjoy life Abbey and do all the challenges you want to do! God bless you and your family.👍❤️👍🚜🙏
Great video Abby
Great choice! This will help with your workload so much. Yay!
