It’s a good show and we should’ve had a 6th season instead of a crappy remake like rise of the TMNT

Honestly i hate this show. People say it's the greatest tmnt show ever and it's perfect but honestly no it really isn't in fact I'd say it's one of the worst.
There are so many unnecessary long plotlines and story arcs that had next to no pay off. They made donnie a creepy stalker who simps for April. They made Leo a simp as well but one that wants to get with Karai who by the way is Splinter's daugther and that's another thing.
Why? Why did they make Karai, Splinter's daugther in the first place, I always thought that was a stupid and unnecessary decision. Like really there was no pay off for it and they really dragged on this plotline for a long time even after she learns and accepts the truth, they then later turn her into a mutant for some reason, and that plotline got dragged on as well.
Also all the 'romance' if you can even call it that was incredibly cringe.
They made Mikey an idiot who nobody respects or ever takes seriously. Donnie like I said before is a stalker and simp. Raph honestly is an asshole. Leo like donnie is also a simp, except for his sister who almost got him and his brothers killed.

Kids already have so many versions of the ninja turtles. I wish someone would make a darker version aimed more for adults. That way they can tell more mature stories without having to put on the brakes because kids are watching. There's Batman for adults and Batman for kids. They should do the same with the turtle. Even Harley Quinn has an adult show.

I personally like to see an adult xxx rated version of the turtles where there is violence, drugs, crime, rape, etc. Well, if I were to do it, I would have shredder be a japanese businessman on the surface and an international trafficking druglord with his own underground societal technological regime. Somewhere in all this, we will find out that shredder has a hidden background in interdimensional physics. He can visit other dimensions. He believes japanese are superior to the rest of humanity. Anyhow, I would make the foot clan more in the forefront fighting the turtles oftentimes. I did not know what to do with april o'neal as well as splinter. I would like to reestablish the radioactive ooze that makes anything living into monsters. I would like shredder to somehow get the ooze on him so he can change into a dragon or something in the middle of it all or not. I would like to have splinter think about suicide because he lost to shredder in battle and the turtles must show him that he is a light in the turtles lives. He gains his hope again and at the end or something, splinter fights shredder again and finally defeats him during the turtles fighting off the foot clan robots. I would end it with the turtles eating pizza or something watching april o'neal reporting on tv. if i had to do a cliffhanger, it would end with possibly with the building of those mechanical mouser things or possibly with the rat king's rats stealing diamonds from someplace. Although it would be so-call dark, I would like it to be a fun watch.

@@ADAM_NORMAN_AND_MELODY no its just a horrible story that strays way too far from the source material and tries way too hard to be edgy. Also Shredder believing that Japanese is superior to the entire world just sounds off since he's always gone after splinter to get revenge for what happened in the past.

    • @ADAM_NORMAN_AND_MELODY
      @ADAM_NORMAN_AND_MELODY Před 3 lety +3

@@alio6051 Shredder believing his kind is superior does not change why Shredder goes after Splinter for what he did in the past to him.
As for edgy, well, the turtles needs to be edgy.....like in the original comic.
This story idea is a great adaptation that stays true to the original source material.... Hence, it stays true to the spirit of what the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is/was in the beginning before they shoved it down the throats of, like you I bet, millennials.
Anyway, the Turtles universe needs to have violence in it..Since it does not with current Turtles cartoons and stuff with the Turtles, it is lacking in what made the Turtles the Turtles in the first place.

Honestly I don’t mind the entire show to me it’s pretty good although the theme song is so awesome and catchy it doesn’t top the 80s and the 2003 Cartoon but it’s at least better than Rise Of The TMNT that show was nothing but a Teen Titans Go knockoff it felt like it for me

The 2003 show is the best because it was more for mature audiences.
This however? Is the opposite it is more silly than serious

@Nightmare1398 I'd say Karai reaction to the truth about her real parents is deeper than Splinter's death. It's ok for somebody to think show doesn't have anything good, but it's such a mistake to objectively claim TMNT 2012(and Rise as well) awful shows without any proofs

This is by a mile the greatest animated run of TMNT ever created. The creator of this version Ciro gave us all (from a child to an adult to an interested bystander) something awesome to look forward too. The seasons all have their awesome highs and lows too. The book from dark horse shows the live and time out into this. 2003 was always the favorite until this blew that away.

This a iteration of the franchise that was pretty good when you don't compare it too parts of the franchise. Especially the 2003 tv show. The only argument I will agree with however if anyone brought it up. Is that at the very least the 2012 cartoon/animated show doesn't end on a bad /mediocre final season.

I think that, since this show is operating as a kids cartoon, the writers obviously got lazy becausr they think 'kids dont care about story or plot progression, so why bother?' Just my 2 cents

I mostly see it as they did as much as they could with the little time they had in their disposal in terms of runtime. Turtles in space and all that stuff is where I stopped watching this series but started to get back into it when I found out they were just trying to follow the silly characters made way before. Overall this show still has some of the best characterization compared to the other tmnt shows.
