Watch and learn how to perm hair using Goldwell's latest innovation in permanent hair shape change: Texture Dimensions PERM. In this tutorial, we create beautiful-looking curls using rollers to get curls full of bounce, elasticity, and shine.
STEP 1
» Shampoo with a suitable Dualsenses Shampoo.
STEP 2
» Detangle with Dualsenses Curls & Waves Hydrating Serum Spray.
STEP 3
» For thick hair, use a medium section, and for finer hair, use a thicker section.
» Wind with appropriate tension.
» Use a brick technique and wide bending rollers to achieve natural looking curls.
» Work from the hairline down to the nape.
STEP 4
» Use Goldwell Headband to protect your client.
STEP 5
» Thoroughly saturate each bending roller 2 to 3 times minimum with PERM Lotion (R/N/SD/D type).
» Process according to usage instructions.
STEP 6
» Use a test curl to check if the hair has reached the desired curl level.
STEP 7
» Thoroughly rinse the PERM Lotion for at least 3 minutes.
STEP 8
» Carefully blot with a towel to remove excess water.
» Apply the Ready-to-Use PERM FIX Neutraliser.
» Saturate each bending roller 2 to 3 times minimum.
» Process for 7 minutes.
STEP 9 - OPTION 1
» Remove bending rollers.
» PERM FIX: Reapply and process for a further 3 minutes.
STEP 9 - OPTION 2
» Colorance Color Perming: Mix, apply and process for up to 15 minutes.
» Rinse thoroughly for 3 to 5 minutes.
STEP 10
» Treat with System Hydrator Hydrating Treatment
» For additional care, apply Dualsenses Curls & Waves Intensive Conditioning Serum.
» Use suitable StyleSign products to give the curls a perfect finish.
» Dry hair with a diffuser to 80-90%, then let it air-dry.
