- C8 z06 gets cat delete. Driving around footage and install footage. Before and after db meter to verify sound increase. No check engine light so far! For competition use only!
Dragy 60-130 7.6 seconds before 66 degrees same elevation.
Dragy after 60-130 6.9 seconds 63 degrees, same elevation

@@Tony-h2893 just finished recording at Brandon’s and the cat delete is LOUD! Sounds like a pissed off Lambo V10 in my opinion. It snarls, pops, crackles, shoots flames….. INSANE.

Not enough miles yet only 10 or so. I’ll know more in a few weeks. My friend has the same w mini cats and I think he got a check engine light at 400 miles or so
That sounds absolutely amazing!! I just ordered the same cat deletes from 2m last night. Hopefully I get them soon and don’t run into any issues. In terms of Check engine lights how are you going to deal with that moving forward? That’s been the only thing keeping me from messing with it.
I’ll just delete the code when it pops up or try different combos of o2 spacers. It sounds like for most people it’s intermittent .
@@Brandonsgarages that’s my plan as well. It sounds great! I’d love to see and hear more videos with this setup. Almost no one else on CZcams has really showed this setup.

I put Fabspeed bypass pipes (cat delete) on my C8, along with their mini-cats. But I still get the code... :( It's annoying, but whatever. Sounds cool. lol

Yes you will get CEL . Sometimes it’s every 300 miles sometimes it goes 1K miles between

I’m working on some this week. Trx and c8z head to head. I’ll be swapping litens 2.72 to see if it can take the z in the 1/8. Should be close

Waiting for turbo kit. Peltz already has one done now working on tune so exhaust for me is a waste because it probably won't work with turbo kit.

have you been around anyone who has 2m or cicio sport cats? Have you had anymore engine lights without the cats? How many miles have you driven the car now?
Lights 3 times now . Put probably 800 miles since. Every few hundred a light pops up and I delete. I have had to retighten cause I didn’t lock tight the bolts so I think intermittent leaks likely the reason. I have not been around high flow cats to compare yet.

How far back did you measure decibels? I'm curious how much quieter the stingray is

I’d love to delete the Cats, but PA is tough on Inspections and will it void warranty(s)?
2m does sell sports cats which are like 1200/1300 bucks and I would imagine similar sound and keep emissions.
Won't void a warranty and if you live in a emissions County, something like Cumberland Co then its just a obd check and gas cap. If less than 5k per year not test at all. Now if more than 5k as long as you light is not on and all but 1 monitor is set then it will pass. No visual test unless it's a enhanced emissions co.
Got a z06 on order, who did you get the pipes from, have you had a check engine light?
2m is the company. I get a check engine light every 300/400 miles and just delete it and it goes away.

@@Brandonsgarages I used antifowlers that I modified on a m2, 2 per side kept the cel off for 3k miles
Question, CEL on? Considering this for my Z06, but they are not very friendly and only refer you to their page filled with smart-ass remarks.
I did at 400 miles. I reset it and so far hasn’t returned. Also retightened bolts.

More pops, crackles. Similar to stock but way louder. Basically sport mode becomes tour now. Track mode now becomes formula 1 mode. It shoots flames now too I don’t think it did that before . I’ll try to capture it on camera . I’ve caught it during the day but not at night yet. Dunno if that’s a good or bad thing .
I’ve talked to 2M fabrication and agree they are dicks.
Man, the Sport mode was too much for my older ears on my Z06. I had to use z mode as a sport mode but with tour exhaust to help my ears. I can’t imagine how loud catless sounds.
What about ck engine lights
Got one at 400 miles , comes back every 350-400 miles and I delete it
@Brandonsgarages not to bad then. They make a device that stays in the obdII plug and keeps it off. Hopefully you never get a reduced power the 02 sensor
