About to do a cat delete on my C8. I have an AWE track exhaust so there is no mufflers. Lets see how it turns out 🫡.

You should hookup a hydrogen fuel generator to it. It will take care of the emissions and boost up the octane rating in your fuel .
Maybe if it wasn't a c8 lol like a Chevy pickup or something would've been cool.

Doesn't sound very good with no Cats at all. 2M Fabrication makes Sport Cats for about $360 that sound better and are at least somewhat legal. I think they require the mini cat emulators to keep the CEL light off.

The problem is that so many folks get the check engine light after removing the CATs, and when it costs like 3 grand to tune that out, it won't be worth it to a lot of people...

@@aidangale5985 I am pretty sure that that's what it costs for HP Tuner software, you have to send in the ECU to have them unlock it, then you have to buy the credits for the tune and then have a shop do the tune, etc... The C8 is expensive to do anything with. It's not like the old days where you bought a $350 handheld and tuned it yourself...

Doing anything to your exhaust Never voids warranties. Your warranty is only voided if an issue is linked to your modification. Which is why Honda and Chevrolet are legendary
Why not just "gut" the converters if you must drive illegally. At least this way, it's much harder for anyone to prove with the evidence concealed.

Companies sell delete kits as "TRACK ONLY" mods so they can't be sued by big G. Remember the rolling coal systems for diesel pickups?, well, the rolling coal makers were sued by the federal government to the tune of millions. Yes, modding your vehicle is fun and cool, but don't think that the government won't come after you if they find out. Hence, knowing when to keep your mouth shut 🙄 and enjoy your stuff 😉

Removing the converters would violate federal emission laws and subject to a big fine. The bypass pipes are for racing off-road only.
