    I’ve had my 570 midsize 2 years and am happy. I just added a 3500 lb winch and a Denali snow plow but haven’t used it yet. I have towed my skidded livestock shelter with no problem.

    I use mine for moose hunting and around the farmstead. Love it. Perfect for what we do. I have hauled a moose all in one load over very rough , muddy trail. No problem and it fits in the back of my pickup.

      @@HometownAcres We went and test drove several today (JD Gator 590, Mule SX and Kubota 500) and looked at the Honda Pioneer 500 and Polaris 570). Our heads are still spinning right now so we are going take all this info in and try to make a better decision. Your video was very helpful in narrowing things down. So far the John Deere impressed us with its quality though it is a little big (and that price tag though). The Mule is the perfect size but we are concerned with it not being liquid cooled (we live in hot Texas). The Polaris is nice but are a little put off with the cab because the there is a little wall by the feet and the roll bar by your shoulders all makes you have to wiggle into it. The Kubota is the perfect size also but no power steering. So, as with all in life you have to decide what is more important.

      Hometown Acres hi Adam, I have had my ranger for a couple of months and very pleased, the only disappointing thing was in the UK the 570 EFI doesn’t come with power steering, I have this week had the dealer install Polaris power steering expensive but it has made a good vehicle a great vehicle and a joy to drive and manoeuvre around trees.

    Got a 2018 new same machine. Has it’s ups and downs. After 1000 miles, It’s small inside and bed capacity weight isn’t very much before it squats. All 4 tires have had holes and had it in for breakdown 1 time in a year. You need a windshield and back glass and a roof to really enjoy the this. The battery is junk and is prone to damage from water and mud. He gear shifter is difficult to operate.

      Thank you for watching. We have gotten a ton of use out of the Polaris. It really is a great machine. One issue we’ve had recently was with the stock tires. We’ve had 3 of them go flat. But we were able to fix all 3 with ‘Slime’. That stuff is amazing. If you get a new machine and plan to keep the stock tires you ought to get a couple tubes of slime to have on hand. Agreed, i have several friends with the 900's and the 1000's that i trail ride with and my little midsize is more nimble in the tighter areas and does just great. The only major is top speed.... They are neck and neck till around 80km and then they pull away. What ultimately drew me to the 570 was it was a bit smaller and the cost was several thousand less. I run it hard for work and play and has not let me down!

    • @HometownAcres
      @HometownAcres  Před 5 lety

      I really only use mine for work. I very rarely go above 30 MPH even though it’ll top out around 55 MPH. I don’t do much mudding or anything like that. Just light trail riding here in the property, hauling firewood and snow plowing. But yeah the width of the machine and the cost are what sold me on it. Thanks for the comment!

Now a 570 ranger is almost the smallest you can get. But I love the thing and couldn’t be happier with it. • @HometownAcres

      No the full size is bigger wider frame so that you can fit 3 people across the front. I believe the midsize is 58” wide and the full size is 62-64” wide which is just enough to make that middle seat big enough for a full size adult. I’ve had 3 in the front of mine and it is really tight. That extra 6” of width would be nice if you plan on taking people for rides. But if you are planning to do that then you might want to look at the crew 4 seater with the extra seats in the back
