Never thought I would get such a useful video when I scanned the package. Thanks.
So glad it was helpful!!
I work at WHolefoods and a customer was raving about your dumplings; tonight I grabbed some after work . Love the video and glad I scanned the QR code ! Will let our customers know 😊
Hey Chef “My man…” 💯🗣️👏
These dumplings are epic!
Great dumplings.
Amazing ❤
This is so helpful! I’m trying pan fried first.
My dumplings turned out excellent 🥟♥️✅👍🏽 I followed the instructions for crispy bottoms and the whole process was 10 minutes start to finish. Today I tried the ginger chicken but tomorrow I'm headed back to Whole Foods to scoop the pork soup dumplings 🥟 Thanks so much for the video and yummy product 🥟
Did you try the other ones? How are they? ❤
I put the dumpings in on oil but the bottoms are sticking to the pan. Any advice on how to prevent that?
Yes! We have some tips and tricks in our Instagram, here’s the link: instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE4MDM1NDMzMDY0NTY4NjA4?story_media_id=3201185930026782279&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Do you defrost or thaw the dumplings?
No
All frozen dumplings are stuck together and cannot be separated. Purchased at Whole Foods last week and tried cooking tonight. Terrible outcome as all dumplings were broken prior to steaming.
Hi! So sorry to hear this! That's definitely not what we want! If you could please send us a note at hello at laobandumplings dot com we'd be happy to try to fix this situation for you! Thanks!
Is this prepared from frozen or are you supposed to thaw the dumplings?
No
@@wolfgang1199They asked two questions. Which one did you answer?
What I ment to say is yes you prepare them from frozen and are not supposed to be thawed
Is the chicken in the dumpling raw?
Hi Alyssa! Yes, the chicken is raw and needs to be cooked completely prior to eating. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions to us at hello at laobandumplings dot com. Thanks!
My dumplings are frozen. Should I thaw them first?
You definitely want to keep them frozen! No need to thaw before cooking! Let us know if any other questions feel free to send a message to hello at laobandumplings dot com thanks!
the pan fry instructions do not work with these frozen dumplings at all.
Hi! Sorry to hear this--please feel free to shoot us a note at hello at laobandumplings dot com and we can set you up with a replacement set of dumplings and try to troubleshoot what went awry! Thanks so much!
I tried pan fried as well, but with making the whole package in a medium size pan, it seems I needed far less water. I had to pour some out. Since pan sizes vary, I don't think water measurement based on level on the dumpling will be very accurate. They turned out really good though.
My cooking instructions would be as following:
-Preheat pan to medium-high
-Add 2TBSP of oil
-Fill pan with water to half way of dumplings
-Bring water to a simmer
-Simmer for 5 minutes
-Uncover and pour out excess water, leaving a small amount in the pan
-Cook 5 more minutes and remove once the bottoms start to brown.
@@laobandumplings1035 thanks for replying.
I'm going to strongly suggest that you change the wording of your cooking instructions.
According to the package itself: "Heat 2 tbsp oil in pan over medium-high heat, place dumplings in pan. Add enough water to cover dumplings a quarter way up, cover and cook for 5 minutes."
Heating oil up to medium-high heat on a stove, then pouring water into it, is an excellent way to start a roiling inferno in your kitchen. I'm assuming (and hoping) that you meant the water should be added as everything was still heating up. But that is not the wording on the package.
Awful dumplings
