Ct5 3.0L premium luxury cost me 55k, I love this car, it’s fast and beautiful, but I don’t have any knowledge about the G70 .. but I like the ct5 looks more.
Cadillac is the highest rated premium brand on the market today. Yes it will compete with and exceed the performance of any of the over-priced brands from around the world‼️
The paddle shifters are actually magnesium just like a lot of premium foreign vehicles.
Exactly why you can’t take these Independent “ reviewers seriously! They don’t know what they are talking about and have zero legal consequence!
Cadillac wasn’t trying to be the most luxurious in the segment with their sedans. Their goal was to offer a better overall packaged ATS and CTS with this new generation, and I think once you realize what their priorities were you’ll understand why they’ve knocked it out of the park. This car is tremendously improved over the outgoing CTS and substantially cheaper than it was too.
If Cadillac wanted to be ultra luxurious to put the Germans on notice, then they could easily do that too as you can see with the Escalade. Even though, the buttons and switches regardless of their material or how they may look - they don’t feel cheap. The build quality is another area that is leaps and bounds above the outgoing CTS. But your criticism is appreciated Ben, because I’m also ready for Cadillac to go back to being the standard of not just great performance but *luxury!* This and the CT4 are getting a refresh and they should be getting the new switchgear seen in the Cadillac Lyriq.
True but there are other luxury sedans for the same price that offer way more and have a lot better interiors and entertainment/tech options.

I own a 2023 550T, as far as the gauge cluster it does change. You have to go into the settings and change it to the sport view. it makes it look 10 times better

You can make the dash screen change with the mode. Sport Mode screen had a big tach and space for 4 gauges on the left side.

Sometimes I'd aways love traditional v8 more than v6 turbo it just sounds more natural and turbo wears engine out at a much much faster rate like Germans do

2:35 cargo space is actually puny. 11 cu.sq.ft. The smallest in its class. About the same as a Corolla.

GM has been using cheap materials on Cadillac from the parts bin of their lower tier cars for decades. Don't expect them to change anytime soon the bean counters run that corporation and it's the reason why they can't compete on the same level with imports when it comes to the fine details that makes great memorable cars.
What’s 550 compared to 350?
The turbo inline-4 of the 350 is disappointingly underpowered. The car struggles to catch up with traffic on freeways, and struggles to pass another car with that little power. Do the research. Read the forums. You will realize why sophisticated buyers all opt for the V6TT instead.
Lot more comfortable than he was expecting? Has he never driven a Cadillac before. A little tired of Cadillac getting compared to German cars. It is It's own animal, they both have their attributes. I would drive a Cadillac for comfort and reliability and Mercedes if i wanted to spend to impress

I agree with Ben 100% when he reference the interior especially for the MSRP price your paying, I was looking at a Jaguar XJ type supercharger and the interior was a 2019 and the interior was much elegant and nice CADILLAC needs to invest in upgrade thier interior, I feel the same with the Dodge Hellcat the interior upgrades are very little just a better engine, and different body style.
Agreed the interior on these is lack luster then next thing you know Cadillac comes out with an updated version and now it has what we were asking for then if you bought this one you are screwed unless you want to trade up for the new one.

You can change the play back speed to slower in the settings of the video . Hope that helps

Why was this car so filthy for the spotlight? Couldn't they have provided a detailed one for the shoot? I find it interesting how you mentioned how "big" the car is twice. Did you realize a KIA Stinger is considered a "compact", but in fact is longer than this car?
Last thing, here's how Automatic Climate Control is designed to work: Hit "Auto" selector button & set your desired temp. Done. The car does the rest. I Noted both controls set to full "LO" & then you manually lowered the fan speed. This is not the way it's designed to operate. Why do people take something easy & make it a difficulty?
