Oh go away Ken
Minnie Caldwell's blankets hadn't been washed for over a year. I wonder how many years her hat avoided the dolly tub.
🤣
U do a rally good job on here keep up there good work on here
Seems like Ken got over the death of his wife pretty quick
Soaps have to be "story led" so therefore whilst i like them things are soon pretty much forgotten....all about the ratings...but i wouldve preferred to see some long term grieving..but would the larger audience??!
I can never understand how Irma Barlow got over her husband and son dying so quickly when she arrived back on the street in 1970.
Because fickle viewers would complain about it "dragging on".
They're sad that way, unfortunately!
10/10
Bobby really likes his 🥛. Half of the milk is gone.
Come on Elsie, he's beneath you.
Pat was married to Alan in real life, he drank himself to death.
She was married to him between 1972 to 79.
A very turbulent relationship
Surely being an alcoholic was prereqisite for landing a role in Corrie.
@@Newpegasuspainter Contrary to popular belief, it wasn't. It was overlooked.
@@Newpegasuspainter Jennifer moss who developed an alcohol addiction got dismissed from the programme in 1974. They certainly tolerated such behaviours in those days as long as they could still function whilst working.
Apparently men couldn't lift a finger in the kitchen and the women loved that in certain parts back then, it made them feel wanted.
Minor point, but was Ray listening at the right wall of no 9 to hear Elsie ( in no 11) slam the phone down?
They were in Len's house he lives next door.
is that all the 60s episodes you have?
