    I’m having this laid soon. They told me I have to move every piece of furniture out of the house so the underlaid product to be put down even. Your footage looks like you did one room at a time with no issues??

      Hi David, thank you for reaching out with your question. You can find the answer in our installation manual for the Spirit tiles (see link below). In chapter 2 (page 4 and 5) the requirements concerning stability, evenness, dryness etc. for different types of subfloor are specified, and the following pages describe the installation procedure. Please read this manual and do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further questions.

    Hi, the installer messed up and there are gaps at a few places between sheets. How to rectify the problem??

    5mm gap between plank and wall not 5cm??

    • @BerryAlloc
      @BerryAlloc  Před rokem

      Hi Greg, this indicates that the first and last row of the flooring should be at least 5cm (2”) wide, to have sufficient adhesion to the subfloor.

    Can these be glued down over existing vinyl? I hear mixed things. If not, I had an idea that a very thin layer of plyboard could be pinned down to the existing vinyl floor and then the new vinyl glued to that. What do you think?
