Ive watched a lot of videos this past forst year ive been doing this. You have the best drum vid bro. Basic yet critical of the important facets. Awesome
Good points! All those little details are super important for making the track sound polished and professional! Loved the points about sidechaining and leading into snare hits with reverses - that's something I need to do more!!
Been wanting to mix different genres into my music to create a different vibe and this is really helpful! Definitely going to check out the whole series 👍
Cool clean tutorial. Right to the point with bits of practical wisdom tossed in!
So many ways to sidechain...
Good start, thanks for fast forwarding sample selection and basic arrangement, makes the video flow much better
Great Tutorial! It helped me to expand my knowledge of FL Studio tricks and the tips you provided for using the different samples were great.
Informative video! Thanks Ghosthack for all your generosity! I don't think any other company has given back as much as you! Cheers, Happy holidays to you!
I've really been meaning to make dubstep but it looks really tough. this whole series is making it look less tricky and more fun to do. this tutorial is really helpful. thanks!
Awesome tutorial - straight and to the point (so many wander around way too much)!
Very nice! Excited to try this and other things out with all the free downloads this month!!
The pre-snare sound is really cool! Thank you, that's very useful.
Well done. Looking forward to part three.
Very helpful ! I wasn't sure of what I was doing with drums, but now thanks to you I know what to do !
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial!
Merry Christmas, everyone!!!
Omg, finally some in-depth tutorial! Usually the details are left out :D
What do I like about the tutorial? Firstly, it's for FL. Most decent tutorials like this are always for Ableton. Secondly, I like how the samples are separated into different tracks in the playlist, it made it easier to follow. Third, I like that you mixed samples as you added them and explained what you were doing. In my opinion, this is what a good workflow should look like. This December I have religiously woken up every day to check out what was in the advent calendar that day, and it would absolutely make my life if I was nominated for the Percussion Library! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone at Ghosthack from Namibia!
Just recently started producing dubstep for fun and really enjoy your tutorials :)
Great Tutorial, nice relaxed feeling but packed with great info.
The tutorial looks great! Thank you for the great samples.
Well I think in the video is well explained, even for me as a beginner, it is always difficult to start over. But here it is like having a teacher by my side who also has patience and teaches me step by step

Thanks bro. Now i can make some dubstep ;D I just need to work on melody (btw ur ghosthack dubstep bassline pack is insane
Well, that's a good start titorial. The beginning of making drum section always got me in the corner cause I have so much samples, so much drums, effects and scared how to make it right and not to fail it at all :c
So, like it!
I think this is an awesome tutorial! Very good!
Very nice tutorial! Works also for other genres than dubstep

In my country the saying is you rest when you are dead
@@SirDelu Here's mine: Hippity hoppity your tea is my property
@@jennifer008 here's mine: That's cool but did you know switching to *Geico* could save you *15% or more* on car insurance?

Pretty good video. I like to stagger my volume levels too, even if it is a very small amount. It makes it more alive and less flat. Subbing and I got my fingers crossed.
Thank you! Very nice tutorial!
I don't typically do dubstep, but this works outside that genre as well. Thanks!
This Tutorial was very informative and FAST straight to the point. Amazing START on how to create a Dub-Step track - Gotta have great drums, I hope I win ! Merry Christmas 2018 - I subscribed and I am LIKE #202
I am now motivated as hell to produce dubstep. I still producing 8bits, bad future bass, I didn't felt ready to produce dubstep. But with these tutorials, I'm motivated, and even if what I am doing is not good, I'll continue, learning from my mistakes, and continue again and again
hope you stuck to it, or found an alternative if you've changed taste!
@@julioxstaticv3782 Thank you for this throwback in past :)
I'm trying to find my own sounds to make rly different things than dubstep and else hahaha
What about you?
@@SimpleHug im trying to learn good sound design for versatility in all sorts of bass music and beyond. I like color bass's take on more melodic complexity than basic riddim. Future bass is fun but i need to strengthen my melody making. And some straight masty wubs are always fun
@@julioxstaticv3782 great keep going, you can do so much just by making and making and making again :)
Same.. but when I open FL, I make a potato. 👽👽
Some nice mixing tricks here, thank you!
The essencial steps for starting WELL!
Great starting point for drums, will use some techniques on the remix of a song!
I arrived here through the advent calendar.
Although I don't produce dubstep and neither speak and understand the english to perfection, this tutorial is great.
