Oh she's absolutely gorgeous. She's going to shape up really nice.
She is absolutely stunning. She carries herself so well, wonderfully square. Beautiful back, confirmation. Sweet and kind natured. Love her, love her!! Can’t wait to see how she shapes up!😍
She is definitely a little girl. Prettiest face I’ve ever seen🥰🥰🥰
Aw when she saw Zyn she was like “wait, he kind of looks like me” haha she’s so cute
She just looks track fit to me. Where was she "rescued" from?
Click bait !
I may be looking at the complete wrong horse, but the grey that comes off the trailer is not “skinny”? Quite muscled with little body fat, so this horse would be considered fit- has nice chest shoulder rib and hip and top line coverage, a thin neck but muscles still, likely just conformation there.
Yes! Shes track fit, definitely needs to fatten up and build more muscle to become a sport horse tho
I also agree with you, not skinny. Nice horse leading the young lady around.
Exactly. Race fit maybe, but my no means is this a "very skinny" horse.
Agreed, definitely not 'very skinny'. Not quite to the weight of race fit either probs because of some time off though or inbetween owners/moving stress factors. ;)
she looks between track feed and regular working horse feed...it's normal for ottb to loose a little weight/get "boney" in the feed transition stages so skinny is a stretch for sure. There is a HUGE diffrence in track fit verses skinny, and if she was shipped a long way.
Aurora is such a perfect name for her
I am in love with this girl, she looks so sweet and athletic, what a mover!
Can't wait to see how she settles in and turns out!
OK while folks argue the skinny vs track fit issue, can we take just a moment to notice how she moves? She is so smooth! In walk, trot and canter, very smooth. Of course, as a Thoroughbred, her running gate will probably be her best. But I like the way she flags her tail, even at a trot - she is so expressive!
She is beautiful! She is now in a happy home instead of life on the track...
She's actually not that skinny... She looks like she just came off the track. She's not fat, for sure... But definitely not VERY SKINNY...
That’s what I think too, she looked not bad for weight, I was expecting skin and bones from the title
@@notewoodacres ditto. I was expecting a 1 on the scale. Not a healthy, fit horse that maybe dropped a few pounds from the stress of a lifestyle change. Athletes are not fat!
@@stephaniehammer6609 that’s so true! I feel like she’s a lighter built horse anyway, maybe even more so than most TBs. I know most TBs are lightly built but this girl to me maybe is even a bit more, but I’m not an expert at all on body shape and conformation haha
Ya she just needs a little healthy fat that’s all
I agree my OTTB looks the same when he came off and I didn’t consider him skinny just an race horse
That horse is racing fit. She’s going to be gorgeous filled out.
She is beautiful she looks like she has more the stamp of the old fashioned a bit more chunk type thoroughbred and she certainly has smooth paces I think she will still look just as beautiful when she goes white she also has the sweetest eyes
She is soooo beautiful!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Wow.. She will make a stunning show horse.. Nice movement, with a bit of weight and rounding out she will be amazing.
that TROT though 😍
Poor baby! Glad y’all saved her
That stall is HUGE!!!
Wow! She would make such a gorgeous dressage mount. What a beauty.
she is beautiful 💜
Wow look at her move, she just floats across the paddock so naturally extended!
Aw when she went paddock and running about she was so happy that was so lovely to watch twice and that tail in the air wow what a beauty x
Yeah shes a beautiful mover thats for sure. And she is so pretty. Lovely build. Shr will do so well.
She’s gorgeous she’s going to be a stunner when she’s built up and she has very kind eyes x
She looks very fit, like she is just off the track. Not VERY SKINNY. She is very pretty though and and looks like she will make a very good prospect for almost any discipline.
When they come in off the track they have that ‘sucked in’ look to them
its not "fit" at all actually. you can tell he has no muscle so it will take a while to get her into shape. this horse IS skinny.
@@chloeraw266 lack of muscle and lack of weight are two different things
She just floats when she trots. Very beautiful.
what a stunning horse when she trots love the way she holds her tail
Um, sorry to burst your bubble but this horse is not skinny, but race - fit. Racing horses might look skinny, because racing requires different musculature than other disciplines. That is why race horses have 'tucked in' bellies.
Also, you got a well behaved, conditioned horse with beautiful coat and mane... and you call them a rescue? What exactly you rescued them from? lol
beat me to the punch. this absolutely needed to be said.
Uh, there's a very real possiblility she was adopted from a capital 'R' Rescue that saves racehorses and other discarded horses from unfavourable outcomes. Usually, Rescues put in work to feed and rehabilitate animals to a generally stable condition before adopting out. The animals are still called rescues. They're still called rescues even if they were just surrendered.
She is gorgeous. She is very light on her feet, like she is floating. I am excited to see her progress.
Lovely floaty trot! 😍
I may have a new favorite 😉 I have a soft spot for gray. And oh a mare that just makes it even better! I feel like if you have a mare that is willing to work, you can conquer the world 😂
She’s beautiful! Your barn is going to be amazing for her ♥️ I can’t wait to see her transformation! ♥️🥳
Greys will always have a huge place in my heart! So jealous! She is such a wonderful mover wow I cant wait to see her plump and under saddle!!
Oh my god she is gorgeous!! Im so so so much looking forward to seeing her transformation, also thank you once again for helping those horses and giving them the life they deserve, you are truly an amazing person! Oh and seeing a new youtube video from you was such a wonderful surprise, your videos always make my day 💛
She is soooo beautiful!!!! I can’t wait to see more of her!!!!
The amount of people going off about the title seems a little silly haha if you’ve seen any of Zoey’s other horses you would see why she considers this girl to be quite thin. She may not be the worst you’ve ever seen but it’s not a competition. She is lacking in the muscle and healthy fat that Zoey is so good at putting on a horse. Though she may be considered the right body type for her previous job, she is going to need a different type for her new job. Can’t we all be a little more positive and excited for this horse’s journey landing in the hands of such an accomplished and caring trainer?
She’s beautiful! Congratulations!💕
Jeezus, that TROT !!
such a beautiful mover 😍 excited to see her bulk up and become fit! she’ll definitely be a total stunner! such a kind eye, and a gentle demeanor. excited to see her journey! ❤️😍
My two came like this when I first got them, plus they’d been started poorly so it’s been a long journey, but sooo rewarding 🥰
She is so gorgeous Zoey!! I am a sucker for greys haha (part of the reason why I love Zyn and Remington so much!) She is going to look really good once she is fattened up!!
I’m so happy for this beautiful horse! 🥰
Food, exercise and TLC, can’t wait to see her progress in a few months!
I was wondering if she was ever coming back to youtube. I was super excited to see a new video! Welcome back, ZL!
Stunning
Awh, she’s stunning!
Such a pretty girl - I like her moves!
Are you planning to do a training series with her per chance?
I'm going to try to do what I can to document it, I unfortunately have so many horses in training that I can't dedicate any time to filming, especially with a show coming up soon and having to prepare 6-8 horses. I'll do my best though!
@@ZLEquestrian Just a suggestion, not a demand. Don't work yourself too hard! :)
@@ZLEquestrian is she going to be resold or are you keeping her? I’m looking for a new horse for the summer and she’s beautiful 😍
Such a beauty! ❤️☺️
cant wait to see you transform her!
I need that hat!! Looks so cozy and love how your hair can come out the top
What a sweet looking girl! She's got great movement! She's going to be AMAZING one day!
Aww she’s beautiful!
Oh wow! I Mean WOW!!! She is lovely! What an uphill mover!!
Beautiful!
She is so cute... I can't wait to see her when she's in prime form, she will be a stunner!
She’s so pretty!!
She is beautiful and she knows it!
Wow! That suspension! And those eyes. Swoon! Aurora ia a great name.
She is stunning 😍
She carries herself very nicely!!
Omg she is beautiful you are very lucky 😀
Beautiful trot! I will be watching this mare!
Aww she’s pretty!! 🤩
She looks so happy to be there
Wow!! She's super fancy!
She isn't skinny at all, well when I bought my thoroughbred 6 months ago he was skinnier she actually looks in good especially if she is just off the track.
In my horse it was worse we are still trying to get him back on a good weight, your wee woman looks really healthy just by what I saw. She is just on her race weight, no need to worry.
Such a beautiful trot she has!
Love HER PERSONALITY AWAOME!,HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!❤❤❤❤❤❤🐴🐴❤
I can't wait to follow this journey so i can learn some tips
She is going to be a totally different looking horse once she gets some grocery's on board. Good for you for giving this horse a new job. There are so many really good horses that come off the track, that need a new job. I enjoy your channel and can't wait to see what happens with this mare. She has a really big reach in front that could be very benificial for dressage. Please keep the video's coming!!
she is gorgeous:)) lucky to have her. i'm sure she will be ok
im so excited and she is so beautifull. she knows shes the stuff and she shows it lol
Omg she is so beautiful, I am so jealous
She has such a great trot! She is so beautiful to💗💗💗
She looks more race fit than skinny.
Yeah
She is soooo pretty!
she's so sweet, I'm showing my non-equestrian boyfriend her now and I'm telling him how I know that you're gonna have her looking so nice and filled out soon!
She's so gorgeous and stunning
I love the new horse and I love the videos
She's beautiful, smooth trot too
She is soo beautiful :)
I hearby name that beauty Grace. Even if it’s in my own little world. She is gorgeous.
She is beautiful! I hope you have time to CZcams her transformation journey. ❤️🐎❤️
She's so cute! Nice name too.😉
I screamed when I saw the title and screamed louder when I saw her! She's beautiful and moves very nice. Greys always take my heart too :)
shes so beautiful wow
Pretty girl!! She will be a good horse once she is all better
I was expecting to see the typical thoroughbred rescue body, this isn’t bad, a few months of good feed and exercise and she’ll be fine! I’m on my second OTTB rescue, skin and bones is what I’m used to getting lol, with good hay and a vitamin/mineral supplement they always gain weight good since it’s so easy to digest. I don’t like adding other types of feeds in until they’re a healthy weight and have that extra energy to digest the other stuff like beet pulp, rice bran, grain etc
I love her! My dream horse is an appaloosa mare, but if I can't find an appy a grey is up there for me too!
So beautiful
A video of what your will feed her would be something i would like to watch!
Super pretty girl. Shell look fantastic once she gains the weight she needs.
I have a soft spot for greys as it is.
Itll be great to see what she does and how she goes. .
She sure has a special look about her. .and seems to have a decent nature which helps.
Thanks for the video
.Chriss 🇬🇧
Dont know where htis horse is supposed to be "very skinny" you obviously never seen a skinjny Horse before, this one actualy looks just fine given the cirumstances. >Ou can see that that horse clearly lacks the muscles it should have, overall you cant see the ribs pokin gout hardcore at all. Is it skinny? A bit. " is it super skinny?" absolutely not.
Really nice TB mare!💗 I'd agree that she is slightly underweight, but not alarmingly so. I doubt she's an easy keeper. Sad to see that even high quality horses are discarded when they are no longer deemed profitable.
Are u sure that’s a rescue
She looks like a top notch horse
Maybe skinny
She’s beautiful 🤩
Edit: 40 likes that’s the most I’ve gotten thanks
I don't think was a rescue unless she was going to The a speakable place. She looks like a young THB and a off the track one at that. She looks well cared for not fat but looks how any young THB looks.
When OTTBs are raced once there done if they didnt do very good rescue organizations take them in and then sell them. SO she did Rescue this horse but it definetly is not skinny damn do I hate it when people use clickbait titles.
Wow, she's stunning. What a sweet face.
She is a real cute horse. I love grays.. She looks like she could be dappled.
Given her condition & temperament, will you treat for or scope to diag ulcers? I would love to hear more about your rehab/retraining program and what you've found works for horses like her.
imo for everyone saying she's "race fit" - she's really not. she would still be considered a little underweight. could be due to stress or an unknown ailment, but she definitely needs weight. and tbh race-fit horses rarely ever look right. most of them are way way too young to be running that hard. i mean, even just looking up the top race horses of the year shows horses in better condition than this.
however, she's in good hands now and i'm excited to see her transformation.
She’s perfect Weight
shes not actually lol. she doesn't have any muscle really, and you can still see her ribs.
@@chloeraw266 you’re supposed to see the ribs. You can tell if the horse is a good weight from their hips and bum and she looks good
Not for anything but racing.
Can you do videos on how you train her?
