Watching Monfils play is a gift! The plays he makes are ridiculous. But at the same time, why hasn't he had the success we've all expected him to have? It has to be a result of his style of playing. I dunno, any input?
Maybe because he's a black man. And also tennis is like baseball in that it's an old sport and they want it to remain status quo. So when something or someone different or outside the conservative mold shows up it's not accepted. ... conservative not political, conservative meaning a more reserved style
