    That's why it has sometimes been called the "Like Button Apocalypse", when referring to when it first debuted in 2009-2010. Add in the "(re)share", "retweet", "repost" button, and the rest is history....

    Likes don't really mean anything. They are usually based more on the mood of the person who is reading the post than the actual content of the post.

    This is all why I don't use facebook or instagram anymore. It's actually easy. It's just a matter of changing your habits and finding other ways to connect with friends.
