It's almost uncanny how much this doctor nailed Amber Heard's personality. Even more uncanny that Amber sat in court listening to this woman speak about her like this, and then later went on to exhibit those characteristics. Goes to show that she couldn't help but be who she is: a manipulative, narcissistic liar.
Amber Heard is a psychopath, pure and simple. But of course, it is not nice to say that.
Sounded like a very accurate medical report given the number of hours of study she nailed her characteristics down hard. I wonder if they will call her to the stand to share more observations
Yep.
Manipulative liar yes but tbh I think if she was narcissistic it would’ve been part of that evaluation
And during her display of 'being distressed' she couldn't actually summon up physical tears...
At least Meghan boasted about her ability to make a single tear appear on demand, from the eye of choice (although I don't believe she managed it during her whine-fest on that 'private patio performance' of the OW show).
That fake crying is just embarrassing to watch. You can immediately tell she's just stalling, trying to figure out how to continue the lie.
Exactly. It’s P A I N F U L to sit through it.😖
In johnnys testimony the judge made them take a break as soon as he shed a singular tear because the pain was REAL and everyone in the court room could tell. I think amber was hoping they'd give her a break too if she acted as hysterical as she was.
I love watching her dig her own grave.
i walked away from my screen when she was fake crying. was watching it with a distance of a flagpole. cringe level was off the charts
dude i kept having to pause and unpause the clip it was so bad
The best thing Johnny's team ever did was just let Amber talk.....Her talking was her downfall. She couldn't help herself, and her stories just kept unraveling.
It's amazing that this woman was hired as an actress.
This is almost scary how accurate her description is.
Because Dr Curry used science not gossip like the other therapist.

I feel bad for the jurors who have had to sit through hours and hours of amber turd putting on this horrific act.
I don't think she's unaware of her behaviour either. She's sitting there so cocky and superior then nearly child like on the stand and acting innocent, thinking she is a great actor. I hope Johnny's side will do a good cross examination . She said he hated all the other actors. How nasty. More slanderous talk. Ffs she just can't stop herself crazy lady IMO
Lol right? It’s tough watching it when i can fast forward it.
The cross examination will be something. Wouldn't be surprised if she lost her temper on the stand.
@Stephen Greenhorn Remember, most of the films in which she has appeared have male leads. She was brought in because she was attractive, but, didn't pull any attention from her costars.
@@viL3Bass Found the Amber Turd supporter
Every time people tell me Amber is the victim I feel like they watched a different trial. She is so see through
Anyone who says she's a victim is a clout chaser, activist, feminist or misandrist. These are people who are wedded to their ideology of woman = victim of patriarchy & male abusers, and woman + victim + accusation = you DON'T question them. The dirty secret about the people that defend her is that they don't want to know FACTS. Facts were what was presented in Virginia. They go on and on about assertions with no evidence presented in the UK. What makes her defenders so frightening is that they don't believe in due process, they don't believe in evidence. Many of them straight up say they ignored anything out of Virginia. Instead, they'll deny a person due process and just because the person is a woman making the accusation, facts don't matter. Think about that, the people who claim to be defending the false victim are actually complicit in perpetuating abuse on Heard's victim, and promoting Heard's continued abuse. They are so ideologically blind and mentally dishonest, they can't see it. Heard picked the perfect group to manipulate. Heard can say or do anything and they'll defend her. This is why modern activism and sects of feminism are so problematic. The intellectual honesty isn't there, and doing the right thing. . Ideology over truth and justice. Meanwhile, they're perfectly willing to victimize someone in the name of the sisterhood and claim the high ground doing it. Scary.
My mom said she believed her! Ugh. I said "ok you're entitled to your opinion, but did you watch the entire trial?" "No.." 😒
What part of mental illness is a choice? You must recognize that mental illness, like Borderline Personality Disorder, is not self caused and its symptoms aren't controllable. To judge her for the symptoms of an severe illness is like demanding she be well. She can't. She can't be any other way than a borderline.
Through this trial, you learned so much about the way Amber's personality is due to her diagnosed mental illnesses, and how horrible it makes her personality. Now imagine for a second that's you and your illness, and that you can't control it and you have to be that person and live it every day with no alternative. Of course she's a victim, but not a victim of Johnny. She's a victim of severe illness she can't control or get rid of. Mental illness is very sad, but I think what's even more sad is when people treat those with mental illness as though their symptoms affecting others is intentional or chosen.
I dated a diagnosed Borderline before. It was hell for me... but that only made me realize how much more of a hell it had to be for them. Because it was them, morning, noon, and night. Day after day, year after year. And they couldn't escape it. It's a cruel prison.
@@skydriver5709 Borderline is a disorder NOT a mental illness learn the difference. A disorder is when behaviour is outside the normal range as where a mental illness is a chemical imbalance. I also dated a woman with borderline which is why I know you are full of shit. They still know right from wrong. They still make choices. If Amber were mentally ill as you describe it she never would of functioned high enough to be in the position she was. Disorder and mental illness are not the same thing at all.

There it is… the stupidest thing I’ll read today…
I love how Amber is smirking while Dr Curry talks, and then instantly goes back to having a serious expression. She is just proving exactly what she is saying.
"He Pushed me and I skid across these "beautiful" wooden floors" when someone has a domestic violence incident they don't describe anything as beautiful because that's not typically a thought linked to any emotion through domestic violence. This is first and foremost the 1 key word in her story that makes it deceptive.
I agree, totally! As a DV victim, I can honestly say I never noticed the state of the carpet (as she did in part of her testimony). I find those comments quite incongruous!
Absolutely agree. I watched her say that live and thought there is no way when you're skidding across a wooden floor, that would definitely hurt, you'd describe the floor as BEAUTIFUL.
@Noxious spot on, as Dr Curry said, they tend to use "big descriptive words" like "magical" and "wonderful" during this type of speach, I would say "beautiful wooden floor" is definetley an unncessearily big word to describe the floor in that situation.
She had a beautiful Shirt on
Agreed. When my grandfather was bashing me in the head with a mug, my thoughts were not about the "finely sanded teak deck boards", it was about where his hands were and his eyes.... I very keenly wish to never see such eyes again in my life.
She was the best witness hands down, and my favorite. Very professional, didn't let the lawyers drag her into their traps and wouldn't allow any form of misinterpretation of the facts or what she had done. Great job Miss Curry!

Ms. Heard just wanted to show us what kind of person to avoid being in a relationship with. How kind of her.
I volunteer in a psychiatric hospital as part of my psychology degree. The main things I’ve noticed with victims of abuse is that they don’t look me in the eyes while telling me their story. Therefore i find it VERY strange that Amber looks at the Jury the entire time. It’s very obvious that she’s lying and it’s unfair to actual victims of abuse.
Everyone distrusts me because I can’t look people in the eyes. I was a victim of childhood abuse and sexual abuse as a minor. I was also a victim of drug abuse parents who gave me drugs as early as 13 years old. I do exactly as you say when tellin stories that happened and I don’t cry a lot. Honestly I don’t show much emotion anymore about the abuse it’s like I’ve become numb to it. So yes I’m seeing a huge difference in her to what I do. I also hve BPD

It was very odd to see someone “reliving trauma” in such a way that felt so unbelievably different from anything I’ve experienced. Granted, I know everyone’s response to trauma is different but there tends to be some overlapping similarities or some kind of connection between victims

The side by side of this explanation(prediction😉) vs heards testimony, is literally as if Heard is doing her best impression of that exact description! This chick is Nostradamus!
How was amber heard EVER HIRED AS AN ACTRESS
She laid on her back and got on her knees.
The fact that she sat down and heard the diagnosis and still went on to all these things the doctor spoke about means that that’s actually how she is and these behaviors are part of her and care be helped. Surely her legal team would have advised her to do the opposite of everything that doctor said and yet she did just that. Wow it’s scary how accurate she was 😨
That's the tragedy of narcissists - they are so totally lacking in self awareness, and have so little empathy for non narcissists, they can't convincingly fake their behaviours to get themselves out of trouble! A scorpion will always be a scorpion - it cannot convince anyone it's a harmless frog.
@@glamdolly30 So true wow!
Worse - in the 2019 deposition of her acting coach, she said Heard has a problem fake crying, she can't produce tears. So her team had that deposition for close to 3 years and she still tried to fake cry....
Heard herself was Depp's best witness.
@@zazilicious I think you made a very perceptive point in your original post - Heard may or may not have received good advice from her legal team, we'll never know (if Bredehoft & Rottenborn's lacklustre performances in court are anything to go by, I suspect not).
But even if they did give her fantastic guidance behind the scenes, I think AH is such an extreme and hopeless example of a narcissistic abuser, she's unable to take direction. As an extreme narc, she's arrogant and deluded enough to assume she can persuade the majority with her lies. So the car crash testimony we and the jury witnessed from her was inevitable - she went her own way, convinced she knew best.
But not only was she working to a bad script because she was reciting her own, poorly conceived fiction, she wasn't capable of delivering it in any believable way.
It doesn't say much for her talent as a professional actor! They say the best actors possess powerful natural empathy for others. I believe Johnny Depp grew up as an Empath, because of the severe narcissistic abuse he received and witnessed first hand from his mother as a child. It taught him to be sensitive to the suffering - and myriad moods - of others, and that is a powerful quality that informs his acting talent, and specifically his chameleon-like gift for diverse characterisations.
Speaking after the recent trial, Johnny Depp said Amber Heard's problems began with one lie - her decision to file a totally unnecessary restraining order against him pretending that he was abusive and she was afraid of him (when he was many miles away in Europe), supported by her appearance at the filing of that TRO showcasing a fake facial bruise (surrounded by media who despite her fierce denials, were obviously tipped off by her team).
Heard's decision to file for divorce and, heinously file the TRO, were as a direct result of HIS decision to end the marriage. Reject a narcissist, and all hell's let loose! Many victims literally don't even survive (the chances of the abuser killing the victim rocket, after the victim ends the relationship/threatens to end it). I believe Amber Heard was capable of killing Johnny Depp, and that he may only be alive today because he left the US for Europe right after telling her their marriage was over.
Enraged at his rejection, with him abroad so she couldn't vent her anger at him in person, she did the next best thing and took her power back by pretending she had instigated their split and worse, alleging she did so because of his violence - a false claim which would later be exaggerated to include a shocking story of sexual assault with a bottle.
Depp said the TRO was the first big lie, from which all her additional, escalating lies and embellishments alleging domestic and sexual violence followed. I think once she started down that road of demonising Depp with false allegations, she couldn't stop, and not only doubled down but added new false accounts of depravities he'd supposedly committed. She fully expected to not only get away with it, but thrive personally and professionally, as a result of her vendetta.
Bolstered by the new #MeToo movement, Heard exploited her manufactured victim status to invent a useful role for herself as a professional victims' advocate, women's rights spokesperson and #MeToo figurehead. It's clear she planned to milk her burgeoning allegations against Depp and their historic, short marriage indefinitely - and early indications were she was establishing success on this new career path.
She got herself a lot of sympathetic publicity, magazine covers and press by painting Johnny Depp as a woman-beating villain - something in his 59 years on the planet, no other female had alleged. Depp's libel action against the Sun newspaper for branding him 'a wife beater' failed, and the Sun's star witness, his ex-wife Amber Heard, was able to give a gloating media conference outside the London court speaking of her 'victimhood' and the support she had received from the public. Pride comes before a fall!
The prestigious ACLU appointed Heard as one of it's Ambassadors - they also wrote the Op-Ed for the Washington Post which appeared in her name, specifically alleging 'sexual violence'. It was cynically timed to promote the new 'Aquaman' movie.
It was also, clearly very damaging to Depp, and the point at which he decided ENOUGH and sued his ex-wife directly. It was a high risk strategy, and many legal professionals were convinced he would lose, after the UK judgement went against him (the judge was fooled by Heard's perjury that she donated his $7m divorce settlement to charity - and from that misapprehension, he decided her allegations of abuse by Depp were 'substantially true').
The UK verdict was a miscarriage of justice, so rather than deter Depp it only put fire in his belly to pursue Heard in the US over her even more defamatory Op-Ed. The level of evidence submitted over 6 weeks was obviously way more, and it soon became clear to viewers at home - and presumably the jury too - that Heard had perpetrated a hoax for her own benefit.
That hoax has now backfired on her, as Depp warned her it would, 5 years ago. She cannot say he didn't tell her what would happen if she continued to lie about him and the marriage. I'm just glad we get to see an all-too rare spectacle - a violent narcissist self-destructing. Usually they destroy everyone but themselves! Johnny Depp's victory is a victory for anyone who has suffered at the hands of a narcissistic abuser like Amber Heard.
All she can do is continually double-down on her lies with her recent, hour-long diatribe at the jury, the media and anyone else she can blame (no doubt her lawyers will be next). Narcissists as extreme as that cannot accept blame for anything, therefore they cannot change. If she had any hope of healing, she would retire from the public stage, and do some serious self-reflection. She is entirely incapable of it. Her future looks bleak. And I have to say, I fear for the safety and well being of her child.
No self awareness is a part of the diagnosis, so..
I just caught she said “ she wishes she remembers.” Don’t victims normally wish they could forget?
It depends, I think. Some people have amnesia due to trauma (don't quote me on that), but as you also have said, we wish we could forget. czcams.com/video/XkKeZ7EAr_o/video.html Finally it's here
I just can’t believe she couldn’t perceive how terribly transparent she was. The audacity it took to think she could fool the world.
It's probably not audacity but delusion. Just an unfounded belief and a disconnect with reality. Because she has, like every other celebrity, surrounded herself with yesmen, and no honest critics. I'm not trying to diminish her actions, but an undeluded criminal with a reality check in the form of critical friends or good lawyers would avoid this kind of obvious lying.
@@Balletified Ah, I see. I'm Indian so I miss all the media coverage. I believe that while there is a lot of substance in the #MeToo movement, it cannot be a substitute for legal proceedings. They should look harder to choose a genuine victim to support, not someone who claims the movement for themselves.
That's another symptom of her disorders.
@@anandsharma7430 Yes, that is the general consensus here too. #MeToo was needed, but like any new movement, there will be people that go too far. I think most people are happy women can shed light on predators and get more support. Hopefully liars can be exposed and it doesn't keep real victims from coming forward.
@@Balletified Yes narcissistic abusers like Amber Heard will ruthlessly exploit anything to further their own ends. The #MeToo movement is a gift for narcissistic abusive females like Heard, who masquerade as victims. Most abuse victims ARE women, so she was able to count herself among their number and automatically be believed by a great many people.
The truth, as this court case fully proved, is she's an ABUSER. And her narcissistic abuse of her ex husband continued, years after their divorce, as she branded him a woman beater and rapist - fully intending to ruin his name and his life.
Heard planned to launch an entire career for herself (in tandem with her struggling acting career), as an 'abuse survivor' and #MeToo/women's rights figurehead, with a very famous 'abuser' in megastar Johnny Depp. The newspaper article she wrote (or rather the ACLU charity of which she had recently been made an Ambassador, wrote for her), was an early promotion of her new career.
Thankfully Johnny Depp was shrewd enough to see where she was going, and that her master plan was to abuse his name indefinitely for her own self promotion as an 'abuse survivor'. He realised he had to sue her, if he was ever going to stop her milking their 15 month, failed marriage for her own ends. As his lawyer Ben Chew said in court, discussing the newspaper article over which Depp sued:
"She didn't name him - she didn't have to. Who is interested in anything Amber Heard has to say, if she isn't talking about Johnny Depp?"
It is appalling Amber Heard has doubled-down on her lies since Johnny Depp's victory, and still claims to speak for victims and women. She doesn't speak for either - because she is no victim, and most women who report domestic abuse are telling the TRUTH!
What she is, is a violent domestic abuser and pathological liar. I truly believe if Johnny Depp had not left the US for a European music tour immediately after telling her the marriage was over, Amber Heard was capable of killing him. I think we could have seen her telling exactly these same lies about his supposed violent assaults, as she claimed self-defence in a murder trial.
Johnny may well have been found with a knife sticking out of his heart - perhaps the same large knife she gifted him, with the words "Until Death' inscribed on the blade (yes, Amber was so 'terrified' of 'abusive' Johnny Depp, she gave him a knife! GIMME A BREAK!)
I'm just thankful it was a libel and not a murder case, as it so easily could have been. Amber Heard has already ended one life - she was drunk behind the wheel of a car aged 17, and killed her best friend in the ensuing crash. Chilling!
The parakeet floors again!😂😂😂

Lying makes her crazy
it’s definitely both
The latter, CLEARLY. lol
She obviously takes stories from other people and use them for her own. She seems like she may even take the very ones she victimized and turn the stories around where she is the victimized. The fact she said "parakeet" floors, as opposed to Parquet (said: par-kay), makes me think she read and practiced a script prior to this testimony.

Obviously. She wasn't walking on budgerigars and ringnecks
That honestly shocked me
Or, she is completely stupid, and genuinely though they were parakeet floors
When Johnny Depp starts telling his depiction of what happened, I can visualize everything he’s explaining. I can see it almost like I was there seeing what he was seeing.
When Amber tells her side of the story, everything is out of sorts, it’s hard to follow what’s actually happening. Can’t visualize the room, the actual fights, the conversations... just a bunch of word salad. I do know that there were some beautiful wood floors at some point in the story. 🙄

And her dog stepped on a bee...

I am so impressed with Dr. Curry's assessment. Everything she describes is what we see and continue to see in AH behavior. Just wow!!!
Watching clips of Turd hysterically "sobbing" in between Dr. Curry's testimony is hilarious
You can tell she actually earned her degree and respects what it entails because she nailed Heard like she wrote her in a script.
well put.
and didn't have to read any of her notes! unlike Turd's psychologist!
The fact that AH actually THINKS she’s being convincing is all the proof one needs that she’s not mentally stable. It’s not hyperbolic to say that it was, at best, a low-rate B-movie performance that anyone with an even tenuous grip on reality can identify as disingenuous.
Really well put, she is completely absurd
Well said! It's like all her knowledge on how humans behave has come from soap operas and novels... I have no doubt she's putting everything she has into this performance, but she has no idea how it's being perceived by normal people...
It reads as parody to me. Intentionally comical, even though I know it’s real.

She's trying to make the story appear detailed and therefore more believable by describing the exact things she saw, Heard, felt etc except, of course, when it comes to whether or not she abused him.
The shit she describes thinking is NOT what an abused person thinks about!!
As this trial was occuring, i had freshly come out of an abusive relationship. This case, and specifically the professional accounts gave me much more closure and validation than any further conversations with my abuser could ever have offered. Dr. Curry was, by far, the best witness Johnny Depp's team could've asked for. Just to watch her testimony unfold in real time whenever Amber spoke on the stand was incredible.
She was interesting and educational, what a great witness!
Dr Curry was an outstanding witness. I won't be surprised, if many were inspired by her testimony to become psychologists. But IMO Amber Heard was the best witness for Johnny Depp and against herself. Not only did she validate Dr Curry's testimony but she allowed the jury and the public to see in real time who she was. In addition we could see that she was lying and had been lying the whole time.
It's still amazing to me that Amber's body language and overall testimony on the stand is *ALMOST* as damning as the actual piles of evidence against her.
My older brother regularly beat the crap out of me and my kid brother. When Johnny was hiding from Heard in the bathroom, I had flashbacks of running to the bathroom and locking the door just in time to save myself. It’s absolutely terrifying. She was going for him, not the reverse. She always spins the situation.
Dr. Curry absolutely nailed her diagnosis and her testimony - she called it to perfection. We all saw exactly what she described unfold before our very eyes when Amber took the stand. SURELY, the jury have to recognise this…
Yet another parrot claiming what is already the general consensus among you sheeple.
"SURELY, the jury have to recognise this…" And what if they don't? Will you end your own life??
She’s noticably less dramatic with her testimony today. Maybe she’s seen some of the TikTok videos and decided to tone it down somewhat.
@@tombara9658 I bet she has been coached by her legal team for the last week.

Camille is moving in for the kill - and you can tell by the tone of her voice that she absolutely despises Heard, with all the heat of a thousand suns. She needs to check some of that emotion, and make sure she phrases the right questions to corner Heard, and maybe bring out some of that crazyness in front of the judge and jury - which we almost saw a couple of times.
I can’t help thinking Whitney could be key to this, imagine if she decided to tell the truth.
To me a weird thing is how much she looks at the jury… like I’ve experienced abuse as a child and I can’t look my own therapist in the eye when talking about it, and I always minimize. I know this is different and I’m sure domestic violence leaves a different impact but I couldn’t imagine experiencing stuff like that and being able to look at a large group of strangers while describing it, it’s like she’s seeking validation
I am sorry for you, but I think you got a point. I mean, even telling strangers on the internet kinda thing is probaly not the easiest, but she seeks the attention from the jury and that live around the world. Rly, I see ppl crying from their hearts on a weekly base (work as an undertaker), but it is legit impossible for me to connect to only one of her emotions while she talks about the abuse. Sorry for my english, not my native language.
Sadly true. I 've never seen someone sharing something painful and intimate with the face up, to be more on display. Even though is not the victim's fault, there is always a feeling of shame involved when recalling these episodes, which I don't see here in her.
Sorry to hear that, I experienced abuse as a teenager too. Talking about it is a hard graft. Lots of pauses and minimal eye contact. Hope you're doing well now :)
Exactly what I said
People respond to trauma in different ways but jesus this is the only time that listening to someone recount their experiences I really feel like it's just an act. I've been beaten basically until adulthood by my parents and every time I talk about it with my therapist or even my friends it's hard to mantain eye contact and not try to minimise, or even blame myself partially for what they did. This feels like someone copying what they saw in a bad courtroom drama
It's crazy how I can't watch 1 bit of Amber's testimony. Cringe factor is off the charts. You can literally torture ppl who have low tolerance for cringe just by forcing them to watch her testimony.

Even though I find this post a year later, I appreciate your meaningful post. I lived with an untreated BPD. I saw the raw emotional intensity, the intense reactions and situations that arose from it. The reactions filtered through triggers that weren't necessarily reality, but being a trigger created a distorted understanding then led to chaos. I understood it as much as someone who lives with a BPD watching it can, but doesn't have it. Perception, seeing situations not as they are, but through a distorted prism. Creates a massive disconnect between how you react to the world and others reactions. You exemplify what makes the situation better or spin out control: self-awareness and being mindful. It takes strength to look in the mirror and recognize something isn't right internally, and seek help. You create a situation family, friends and spouses can work WITH you. They can help you on your path. They can be allies. Amber on the other hand, her BPD and histronic sides don't allow for that inner self-awareness and internal admission she's not ok with her mental processes to exist. Her deflection and outright lack of acknowledgement for anything, and most sinister, taking real situations twisting or flipping them into an abuse narrative so she doesn't have to face the shame of her abusive behavior is monstrous. I understand she may not be doing it with malice, it's literally her rewriting situations to not have to face the intense feelings it provokes. I understand she's primarily in reactive mode because her emotional landscape is volatile. She can't acknowledge she's not perfect. It's too painful. Everyone else is the problem. That creates a world where people are just tools for attention, clout, resources and publicity. She's very much a hopeless case because at her core she can't bond with humans on a emotional level. You see that with JD. She's used manipulation and every form of control to avoid confronting her flaws, it's who she is now. She'll never change by choice. She unable to look at herself beyond how she thinks. She's the worst in untreated BPD, that you can't even address the problem because the problem is a trigger and causes a response that doesn't promote solutions, it makes more chaos. It's funny she would talk of "solutions," but her solutions only made more chaos and violence. Fighting and accepting violence was love. The vast majority of people do not think that way. Huge reflection of her distorted inner thought patterns. You can't as a non-BPD be around someone with that radical of a distorted view of internal relationships. And, if you try to discuss it, it's a trigger and a blowout fight ensues. I think Amber is actually a danger to her child. That child will need emotional normalcy and Amber won't be able to provide it. When that little girl starts triggering Amber by exerting her own identity, it's going to turn into a war zone. Or, the child will turn into Whitney, a complete and utter accomplice with her moral code beat out of her. Such as Whitney knows it's a lie, she protects Amber out of loyalty and expectation no matter who else gets hurt.
Wait, she took sleeping pills after being “beaten,” and the “abuser” was still in the house? I can’t imagine a juror in the world that would find her disgusting performance real

It is absolutely perfect that Dr Curry got on the stand before Amber heard's testimony. Everything she described we witnessed in some way. So much so, that all the way down to not owning the vulnerability, But simply speaking of it as though it was present with very little detail reveals itself through "the grammatical person". Every moment she described it difficult decision, or the difficulty of a situation/scenario she used the 2nd person. Everytime!
or maybe she did exactly what everything dr. Curry said so she can escape the jail? is that possible?
@Atsaka Only if she is an absolute idiot. The “plead insanity” only works if the person is truly out of touch with reality in a severe way that also leads them into criminal acts. This results in imprisonment (not residence) in a mental facility with arguably fewer freedoms than a standard prison

AAAGGGHHH! It's fascinating how the psychologist completely nailed it but GAAAWWD it's SO PAINFUL watching "Miss Heard" again with her pathetically horrible bad acting. It's so ridiculous that it would be hilarious if it weren't for the fact that it represents how cruel and malicious she is. She's so despicable.
The more I’ve re-watched Dr.Curry’s testimony, the more I’m struck by how totally credible she is (that was merely reinforced once I’d viewed Amber Heard’s testimony). Dr. Curry went into such painstaking detail to explain the processes and procedures that she follows in her role as a psychologist, as well as making it sufficiently easy for the jury to understand. She had completely nailed Amber’s behaviour/performance in her descriptions.
In stark contrast to this, however, when Dr Hughes was giving *her* testimony, I was soon struck by how unreliable an “expert” witness she seems - she was SO immediately dismissive of Dr. Curry’s profiling methods and observations, let alone the plethora of other existing evidence and information collated by other medical professionals that she had reviewed. I have to say, I found myself getting increasingly frustrated and seriously annoyed by her dismissal of so much pertinent information.
I truly hope that the jury is savvy enough to see sense, and see through Amber’s bogus testimony once all is said and done in this trial.
it is super scary, that Dr Hughes is a big shot at the American Psychological Association and has influence on the guidelines and criteria of trauma disorders.
Notably, Dr Hughes main thrust was "what Amber said is consistent with being a victim of IPV". It's basically hearsay. Dr Curry was specific about what and why a diagnosis exist
"Dr" Hughes is without doubt the most openly biased supposed expert witness I have ever seen.
Her biases were openly on display both in her choice of language and entire attitude.
I found Dr Curry far more credible.
Dr. Hughes has a long history of chasing high profile cases and has been labeled multiple times as someone who has “no factual connections” to the cases she testifies for. She also admitted to getting getting her information from the media and not directly from the person in question themselves. Many of her testimonies had to be stricken from record due to extreme prejudices.

When she describes situations, it is like she is describing scenes from a movie, not actually remembering real life memories. And I guess that is natural. I remember thinking exactly this -- Dr. Curry very directly said this is what she saw/detected/diagnosed in Amber Heard. And there she was...doing exactly that.
