  • What's good Bike family, If you own a NEWER model, MV Agusta Brutale 800rr, this **QUICK install guide for upgrading your air filter might help. The install without instructions and lack of information on the internet is pretty straightforward, especially if you're mechanically inclined, but sometimes others need more help. This was my process and run down of how I went about the task. Take your time, and while you are taking the bike apart, familiarize yourself with the setup and ow things are run throughout the bike. It does help in future installs and being that the bike is compact, it is easy to lose track of material or parts you removed from the bike while trying to install things. I usually take pictures of the bikes section you are going to work in for reference in case you forget what part or fasteners go back where. Most importantly have fun and stay safe out there! Huge S/O @Sprintfilter 💯

      No problem bro, unfortunately/fortunately...I just traded that bike in for an Aprilia. But if you need any help just let me know if I can help. 🤘🏿

      😂👌🏾... I've done so much to my 14 inside and out, that bikes don't scare me too much to work on. And I take it back.. So far bike not too bad to work on. Minimal bolts and fastener points. Fun stuff

    Wooow dude you took off waaaay more than I did for an air filter replacement. I did it from the left side, just removed the fairings and the intake tube. Could slide it out and back in through there!

      Right on! But I had more than just the filter going on that day. I like to customize my rides so I took the intake ducts off and spray painted them. I also like to take the bike apart atleast a few times to get acquainted with how it's put together/etc.

    Does it have much diffrence between the stock & Sport Filter?

    • @KhrisRidez
      @KhrisRidez  Před 2 měsíci

      Sure does.. it allows for a great deal of oxygen to get in the bike which will help it perform better but the P08 filters are designed to be just thin enough where it won't let Dirt /dust particles get into your engine. I live in a mostly desert area so if I did the racing filter I'd be screwed. P08 definitely works. I have one also in my ZX-14-R and will be loading one in my aprillia.. Gain a extra 1-2 hp. Worth it. Great quality from sprint

    Did you have to flash the bike’s computer?

    • @KhrisRidez
      @KhrisRidez  Před rokem +1

      in general you don't have to do anything to the bike. You can just ride it stock.. But if you're referring to me putting a performance air filter in.. No, you dont have to flash the bike for that mod. It's not creating a huge amount of a difference in the ECUs programming to throw it off but let's say you get a Full Exhaust system(NOT SLIP-ON) you then need to do so! But my bike will be getting flashed in the near future for sure. Thanks for watching.

      hello, I see you have "headlamp sensor" problem .... how did you solve it? where was the problem?

    • @KhrisRidez
      @KhrisRidez  Před 10 dny

      The Wire harness was cut to short by the factory so when you turned the steering column ,you basically where shearing or tearing the wires away from the connector mounted to the steering column and the wire harness connector. Had a dealer get a new harness and install. Poor manufacturing. Which is why I don't have the bike anymore. Good luck!
