Cant wait! Ferrari has my heart but there are so many drivers, stories and teams I want to see do well. Heres hoping every team has some kind of success or good fortune to encourage them to stick around and persist with WEC so it gets bigger and better again next season

I've never been a fan of Hyperpole. I'm aware they did it to make track action more exciting as they deemed the two hours of sporadic running to not be entertaining by having all of the cars coming out at the end of the practice/qually and tripping over each other trying to get in a quick lap but I preferred the teams having to set a meaningful lap in the dark, but just running around. That's my personal view anyway.

I hope the broadcaster will keep up this season. Unfortunately, this sport never had a good TV live feed and proper highlights to hole race weekend. At least this year will be only 2 classes.

How long is the race time wise?
10 hours I think
well it’s 1812 km in a 5,419km track and that makes 335 laps. if the average lap is 1min40sec (bold prediction) that’s 9 hours and 15 minutes of racing (caution free). it will be more than 10hrs if they don’t cut it short like sebring last year
@@jackdtr4796 Got ya, I saw on a post it said it’s on Max streaming from 2am to 9am but then also heard it’s 10 hours. I thought it was a 8 hour race and was 6 hours in years past.
It's 1812 km or 10 hours, what comes first. In theory, they should finish in less than 10 hours.

Ferrari in Yellow are shockingly gorgeous, I bet that enzo will shed tear if he see it, while Toyota went full Alpine mode with that unpainted carbon fiber

They are 30 kg lighter than Ferrari and Toyota tho
@@fqeagles21 Ferrari weight is the same as last year and -2.7hp, Porsche got +2kg and -12hp, Toyota got +9kg and -5hp.

Maybe, manufacturers & teams in WEC and in IMSA, & ELMS changes every year
Of course there's a chance. Change is a constant in WEC, they got rid of a whole LMP2 class just to make room for more Hypercars manufacturers.
Honda already has a Hypercar, they just choose to run in IMSA only so far, not WEC
McLaren, no, and Honda don't seem interested in bringing their Acura over.
Honda could be likely, concerning McLaren I don't think so but maybe in 2026
hyperpole is utterly useless in WEC unless they incentivize pole position with additional points
