In my opinion, you should build it! On video the chassis tub looks a little on the thin side to me. I would drive it, but not too radically because I just don't think the plastics are meant for use. If it was all delrin and nylon plastics it can take a beating, but the clear is probably not a good material for that purpose.
I like the kit, but why does Associated make it a display-only model? I wanted one for the collection but don't need another 'display only' shelf queen.
@@vrcmag Oh yeh I know, I remember for their 30th, but those were fully functional and ready to race. When I got the email from Associated about the CC, they clearly state it wasn't designed to operate in a race setting and made for display only, probably due to some of the clear polycarbonate not being strong enough to run. I have a new in box Worlds kit; maybe I'll find a local collector that would want to trade a CC with me.

Associated themselves state it's a display model only, probably for those reasons.
They say technically you can drive it but it's main purpose is for display
So what does the plastic feel like? Is it brittle or does it feel pretty durable.I just got mine today and haven't even opened the shipping box.

I am not sure if you noticed, but the chassis is actually already drilled out for the stealth transmission. Thoughts?
