Canon XF 605 Unboxing and quick review - Production model

Having owned the great XF 305, and then switching to the XF 400 which I have used for the last four years., when the XF 605 was announced i pre-ordered it. It arrived earlier than I was expecting, and as I have have seen very limited content on CZcams, I wanted to share my excitement of the new camera.
The XF605 Professional Camcorder is the next-generation XF-series camera. Equipped with Dual Pixel CMOS AF, the XF605 achieves high-speed and high-accuracy focusing, and is the first XF-series model to include Eye Detection AF, as well as iTR AF X technology for improved face and head detection for more accurate and stable tracking of subjects.
The XF605 offfers 15x Optical Zoom lens with 3-ring manual control. XF605 can shoot 10-bit 4:2:2 4K UHD footage in XF-AVC and MP4 formats to dual SD cards for easy post-production and quick delivery. It features multiple recording modes including Frame, Interval, and Slow and Fast motion up to 120fps in FHD.
The camera features built-in Wi-Fi/Ethernet for Browser Remote, CTM (Content Transfer Mobile) app, IP streaming, and FTP transfer. The camera is also the first XF-series camera to feature USB Video Class allowing use as a webcam without the need for a 3rd Party HDMI to USB adapter.

hi there. I would like to replace my "ancient" XF300 and XF100 and I skipped the XF400 because it didn't have similar external buttons/rings like a real XF camera...and now I see the XF605...I'd like to see some real world footage-in low light mostly. I want to use it for live events including weddings. Will you be posting an actual review/testing video soon?

what is the use of ethernet plug and you were saying "this is the camera that allowed direct streaming" does that mean by this we can use green screen like we can use on dslr cameras!!!!!???? Hope you will response soon

Quick! Film something with it and post the results or you will get overtaken by the rest of the people. Low, light, interior, exterior, jello effect, ergonomics etc.
