Josh Hawley and John Kennedy want to make sure MEDICARE DIES as soon as possible. They want to underfund it so they can claim it is not working. Biden's bill on the other hand adds VISION, DENTAL, and Reduced Drug Prices. It also contains child care for working parents and elder care provisions. You have to ask yourself why the entire Republican Party is against helping ordinary Americans. Sure, they will support tax breaks for for their rich donors but refuse to return tax money you paid into the system back to you. Perhaps if wrote them a check for $100K they might listen.

Why didn’t Joe protect Ukraine this well when he was assigned to it as VP. All he was concerned about then was withholding a billion dollars until Ukraine agreed to fire the individual who was looking into his son Hunter’s Ukraine dealings... and it came out anyway. This is NOT the time for a President to be pushing his own agenda. He needs to take responsibility for the disasters he has created at home and abroad. But whether he does or not, the majority of Americans feel the blame rests solely on his shoulders. You can only get away with blaming Trump for so long when the economy, jobs, inflation, supply chain issues, the border and, yes Afghanistan were under much better control before he assumed the role of President. As for Medicare, I am a Senior and admit that those benefits would be welcomed by me as well, there is just no capital for it. Biden says, “all paid for, won’t cost the American people anything. That’s the biggest crock I’ve heard yet. Who is it who suffers under inflation? Who’s suffering now with rising costs for gas, food, fuel, goods, building materials. Each of us but not Biden, Pelosi, the Clinton’s, Obama’s and the 20% who control most of this country’s wealth. They can afford the increases. It’s people in the lower and middle income classes, who will struggle to pay all the increased cost of goods plus the tax increases that are bound to come after they borrow the add’l trillions for these programs. It is just not wise to push it at this time.

Medicare is a horribly broken system that needs to be fixed and Kennedy is pushing to fund it still instead of fixing it, they are just trying to get it away from democrats attempts to break our country more than they are already doing. Our debt ceiling is already far too high and our government needs to fix its spending habit.
Our culture was built in a way that didnt inform people the need to save for when they are old, which is why we need medicare now and we should definitely keep the promises made, but the system needs to be fixed and people need to take care of themselves instead of expecting the government to do it for them.
I think every person in congress needs to be subject to have Medicare only while serving in office so they get a good taste of the poor health care our seniors receive!!!
AND live on wages they expect everyone else to live on! Thank God for these few senators! Those who want to cut Medicare & farmers & ranchers, should be REQUIRED to live on the same wages they expect us to live on! Give their's ill-gotten funds to people who need it! What?!! We have been sitting on our butts, enjoying ourselves too much and that is why our economy is increasingly struggling!! Setting policy should not be about enjoying the holidays with fruits of labor for which we have not worked!! Sometimes the right thing to do requires that we concede that our choices or promises we have made in the past might not have been the best and then be willing to take action to adjust. Nothing in life is guaranteed but change. I support Senator Kennedy. Not because I agree with or even know what his stances are on policies, but because it seems that he honestly cares about his fellow citizens and his pledge to represent them. Without ego. Against the grain. Doing what is required for the ultimate good and against all obstacles and the red tape that has bound our country towards its downfall.
