Such a sad story. Anna May Wong 1905 - 1961 was always a joy to watch.

Such sadness in her eyes. She was still so beautiful. So sad that she had such a short life 😔😔😔😢

Her health was failing but the talent was still there.

    Wow!
I watched this as a boy.
Then, a decade and a bit later: Kwai Chang Caine!
    Those were the days!

One of her last. She didn't look well. This was aired on March 5, 1960. She died the following year on February 3rd. So sad that such a talent ended so early.

I just realized, the poem she is reciting at the end of the episode is the same one she recites in Hollywood Party, right?

Yes, that's correct. She recites this poem quite often. In Hollywood on Parade and other instances.

Wyatt's so called backup wasn't worth a pitcher of warm spit. He deliberately stood back and waited and even holding his shooting iron.
    A whimp!
