Rexus King The bokeh isn’t squared. All anamorphic means is that the image is squeezed horizontally to fit completely on the 35mm sensor and when stretched back out gives the image a true 2.39:1 aspect ratio. The squeezing of the image causes the circular bokeh to become vertically elongated and the effect is maintained even when you stretch the image back out to the correct aspect ratio.

What cameras would this work on?

Since it's 1.33x, and not 2x, it will work with any camera with a 16:9 sensor.
