Thank you for this reminder. I had organized my Apartment. Every room, both bathrooms, under sinks. Then I bought a small 3 Bedroom 2 bath country home, and I need to start over again! I have almost an acre, so I focused so much on gardening. Now it is time to Spring clean, before the gardening begins. I LOVE your videos! Keep up the encouraging!

So many vloggers reorganize these huge kitchens...and I recently watched one where she talked about how " pretty " it looked....I don't need "pretty " ( that would be a bonus ) I NEED functional for the items that I regularly use!!!!!

There are so many more people involved in the supply chain not only the delivery person, like the warehouse workers, who are even striking because they are forced to work in unsafe circumstances to prepare your super essential container order...
Maybe educate yourself before leaving comments trying to delegitimize other's concerns, because buying nonessential stuff in person and the delivery persons leaving things on the porch doesn't solve e.g. the warehouse issue.
And how dare you think that you can decide for them that they would rather be employed, you do not know their circumstances and how much risk they have to face given chronic illness etc., for them and for their loved ones.

You just made me cry. My mom has recently passed. I'm trying to get the house in order, but I get so overwhelmed, I stop and start in another area of the house. I have started in almost every room. Just when I thought I've been threw all the mail and magazines and newspapers I find more. Just when I thought I threw out all of the reusable to go containers I find more. I just need to stick to one room and get one room done and I just can't seem to do it.

My life exactly right now,! We moved two weeks ago and are at a hotel until our renovation is finished! It is really not the best time to be in limbo! Hang in there! The hotel management has been so great though so there is always a bright spot to focus on!

Great job!!!!!! We did this last week! We have NINE kiddos all in a small home and boy it’s hard to figure out where to put things! We have NO CLOSETS but it’s changing soon! God willing, we’re remodeling and making our small home work for our big family! Being content is a gift!

"It's not permanent." That's perfect. I would add that organizational needs change as our lives' seasons change. My husband and I have reared our children. We no longer organize children cutlery or snacks. Our lives lean more towards organization for my Little Person access. Items I use are down lower for me, and, likewise, his items are higher up. Organization is a habit and mindset that requires a willingness to evolve. Organizational helps are not permanent; they change as we change. Change is constant, but a habit and mindset can result in a permanency of happiness and comfortableness.

I'm so glad you said that it was all the same stuff; that it all fit. So often, people show how a gadget will help organize a cabinet, but they're really only putting back a portion of what was there. (I know to declutter before organizing, but if someone says, "look how this plate rack (or whatever) will hold everything so much better, but then they left out half the plates, that's not actually helping.)

I love your organization videos, but I have questions:
1. Why would you keep excess sugar and flour in the fridge?
2. If you store extra cans behind that wire shelf thing, how do you get to them? From what I see you'd need to shift the wire rack somehow if you didn't want to empty it completely. To me, simply stacking the cans kinda looks more efficient.
nessagirl1911 I can speak for #1. I think it’s to prevent bugs since the floors are not in an airtight container.

The only thing i can never get organized are my plastic bowls & lids!!! I can't figure out a way to keep them organized.
Buy the less deep under cabinet tray for lids
The plate divider rack she showed in the video works well for lids as well.

My six-year-old granddaughter came over last week and asked if she could organize my canned goods cabinet, AGAIN. When she first started she matched the pictures on the cans. Now she reads what's on them. It's not a small task and she loves doing it. She wouldn't take any money for it either. She's a real sweetheart. I love your channel.

She moved stuff to this amount of space to show a typical small kitchen. She's not able to go to other houses right now because of covid. Especially because her husband has health issues. So, she's doing the best she can right now to represent it. She's done tiny kitchens in the past. I know there's one from sister in law's Japanese kitchen a year or so ago.
Whoa. The perspective of how you feel about your home when describing it really resonated with me. I live in a 450 sq. Ft. home we built as empty nesters and there are places in it that cause great anxiety, while others give me the Ahhhhhhh feeling. Now, I know to tackle those first before “fluffing the nest” if I really want to feel good in the whole house.
Okay this whole video is awesome but I LOVE that you keep snacks ready and reachable for your kids. So many parents restrict food unless it's given.

Hi, Kathryn! I have a hint for you all. If you have a local TJ Maxx, you can find bargains galore! For example, a year ago I had been hoping to find a reasonably priced lazy Susan that I could afford. Sure enough, one day I looked around in our local store and found a 9-inch lazy Susan for six dollars. Wow! This past fall, I desperately needed winter boots, and one day I was in my Maxx and I couldn't believe I found a pair of awesome Sketcher boots for $39! Normally, the retail price is $70! WOW! I never thought I could ever afford this level of quality!
