I buy food items at Dollar Tree to make homeless bags: washcloths,tuna or chicken snacks,peanut butter cups,applesauce,nuts,crackers and other small items placed in gallon baggie. Also quarters for laundermat or fast food. I have been doing this with my granddaughters six and four , they enjoy placing items in baggies. A lesson in giving. Best tip....declutter before you buy any organization bins, baskets etc. So, you know exactly what needs to be organized. I always see people buying containers first.

Organizing is not my momâs favorite thing to do, and I love it. Over a year ago, I put the small bins with poster tack on the bottom in the drawers of the bathroom that my brother and I share. We each have one with only our toothbrushes and toothpaste, plus an extra square bin in the back with extra floss and such. The system works so well that itâs even 13 year old boy proof!

I agree. I live in an old 80s built apartment.
I totally agree! Our apartment is around 650 sq ft and it's very oddly built. 1/1 with a "walk in closet," a "storage closet," and a "dining area" which none of those actually have room for what they're called.
We also have no drawers in our small bathroom and have to have one of those "over the toilet organizers" that is too shallow for actual storage bins and it's so frustrating!
It's CRAZY how much stuff we have and don't use. Last time I went through my bathroom I went really cut throat and everything I hadn't used in 3 months, I got rid of! It was great and I actually haven't missed ANY of it!
So get rid of all the stuff you don't need!!!

Maybe you could do a video like a challenge video? Maybe you and a friend can exchange some random stuff that you need to declutter from your houses, put it in a box. Switch! And each one of you can see what DIYâs you can make with it!!

Norma Hernandez I put shoe holders on the inside doors of my bedroom closet and it has been awesome for us! My husband keeps undershirts in his I keep an array or items from feminine hygiene products to laundry bags.
Norma Hernandez I use one on the back of our pantry door for all of our travel cups.

I love that everyone has their own toothbrush space . I prefer that my toothbrush not mingle with others or be out in the open. I always have too much of everything so, yeah it's a problem

Our small bathrooms have zero drawers I wish someone would do a real small bathroom or a real small kitchen. With a family of 5 and no organizational skills...I need help from more accurate versions of SMALL spaces lol. We live in 950 square feet, think Cottage lol

I went on a mini-tour or Dollar Tree Stores in my area looking for all these cool things. After visiting 5 different Dollar Trees (I wish I was kidding!!) I couldn't find everything, but I made a great start.

That bathroom is enormous compared to mine!
I was just going to say that. The previous owners of my house removed the only closet in the house so as to add about a foot and a half to the bathroom. If you sit on the toilet your knees knock the sink. I can't bathe my dog in the tub because she's convinced there isn't room enough between the toilet and sink for her to squeeze through. The room also has three medicine cabinets (two inside the walls, one hanging on the wall). It's the only storage in the room.
Yes! We need an extremely small bathroom makeover. I wish I had drawers in our bathroom.
Yeah mine is so tiny the toilet, sink and then the short end of the tub are all directly next to each other in my house. Like, barely enough room to clean between the sink and the tub! So annoying!!! I can only store cleaning products under the sink but luckily I have a pretty big linen closet in the hall. But still stealing some of these ideas!!!

I know I have a mirror cabinet. And space under the sink. But I will use the idea to use the sink door for some space. I started uses those bin for my toilet tissue. đ

Put the dollar tree storage under the sink cabinet then. I have a skinny sink so it doesnât even have cabinets
Get some of the stacking bins, use the super glue from dollar tree and walah! You have storage with out needing cabinets or drawers
I am a Mom to 12! Blended family. While I was pretty organized prior to our current marriage, it has been so hard to get organized with all 14 of us in the house. Granted this has been during the pandemic while schooling everyone from home for a good chunk of time. I am loving these ideas! I hadn't thought to cut down an old shoe organizer! Thank you!

I LOVE the item that you called a card organizer! You can use one for a deck of cards, but also a bar of soap, earrings, Q-tips, makeup, lots of things! And that you can click them closed and they stay closed is perfect. You can also use them for wrapping small presents too. I always buy a few each time I go because I know that I'll always find a use for them.
I LOVE your videos. Today I finally tackled the utility/laundry area. I went to Dollar Tree, got a few bins and some really nice peel and stick paper and in just a few hours a disaster area looks so neat and organized...and I know where everything is. Thanks for the inspiration.

Kathryn - Today I went to the DT and spent $26 on bins and baskets. I came home, emptied my hallway pantry completely, cleaned it, and thoughtfully placed like items into my new bins. Then I labelled each bin. Although it isn't perfect, I love it. I got rid of so much stuff I know I would never use. I love, love love it! OK because of you I have bathroom drawers like yours by putting only a couple things or one thing in little bins. This has helped me so much! And you really realize you donât need a lot of stuff. My sewing room needs help. It is really a corner in the dining room that is never used. It is my father-in-lawâs home, we are temporarily staying with him (he has dementia and change causes too much confusion) so I cannot really change it. It is the storage and organization of my sewing items that is what is needed. If you can help it would be great. Thank you. You are such a joy to watch. I travel a lot and also do my makeup in the car, so I find its helpful to keep my makeup essentials in a travel bag with a zipper in my drawer so its always ready to go!

Love you Dollar Tree organization so inspirational, they seriously have a bin for everything!! Another tip I have is simply changing out bathroom vanity cabinet hardware/pulls to make it look and feel new! Relatively inexpensive but makes a big difference!

How do you store bulky bedding, comforters & blankets?
Buy a box of those large or xl vacuum sealed bags. Iâve seen it at Ross. I just stack them in my laundry or linen closet.
I have a nice blanket box that I use as a coffee table. I've upcycled it so it looks prettier than the solid pine look. Then I do as the other lady said and I get vacuum seal bags and shrink them. The bags are much better than they used to be years ago. They were useless then.

You can keep some of them on the bed under the mattress or mattress pad, or on top of the box spring. Under the bed storage drawers with wheels , and over the potty cupboards and shelves.
Vacuum sealed bags. They suck the air out and the bedding is about 1/3 of the thickness so they are really flat and easy to stack. If you don't have room to stack, you can get some of those hangers that have metal clips on them and attached the bags of bedding to the clips and hang them in the closet.

Iâm crazy about glass for my bathrooms. I like saving the candle jars, after the wax is gone. I use them for hair ties, brushes, jewelry and small soaps. Your voice is soo comforting.
