I have a 10 year old Weber that had a light. The grill is great but the light worked on and off for about 6 months. I called Weber about another replacement part and explained that years ago had the light and it didn't work well. They sent me the part I needed and a new light all for free.
This video is great! It clearly takes you step by step from opening the box to final install on the grill.

Thanks! I have a Webber grill light that came installed. After 18 months, it quit. Your video had enough information to allow me to replace the batteries and .. now it works. Only comment is that the seal between the handle part and the light required a mild pry to loosen. I really love this light.
Best additional purchase I made for my grill thus far. I bought and installed (3) of them so when I'm cooking at night the whole grill lights up...... It's a bit overboard but I love my grill:-)
They make is so complicated, I just got two replacements and I have lost my patience with this

Had my Weber light for maybe 6-8 years. Weber stuff just lasts and lasts. I just leave it on all the time. Close the lid, it's OFF. Open the lid, it's ON. What a concept! Buy a Weber, you will never regret it. BTW, I've had my Spirit E310 for maybe 12 years.

My first light gave out after that. Hoping the free warranty replacement from Weber last longer.
The good thing about Weber products. Is if they fail, they will stand by their warranty. And I cannot say I have ever had any hassles from Wener Customer Support.

Had the same issue with a new grill light but changed the angle of the light slightly and it shut off.
Mine got some rain on it and died. Not as weather resistant as they claim.
You show the battery compartment sliding out easily. Mine is stuck... Really wedged in tight.. Any suggestions for getting it out without cracking it?
Mine just works, so I have no idea, call Weber.

Less then a year and ours has failed already. Our knob lights and handle light aren’t working. I love Weber but I’m not sure about these lights. A lot of $$$$ for this grill to have failures so soon! Contacted Weber we shall see.

My light never worked. I'm going with a different brand. Love the grill, hate the light- junk from the start.
Did you ever contact Weber?
@@DGrill No. I bought the grill last June and the light came with it. The thing was full of water. I dried it out, got new Batteries but the screws seemed to be stripped. I gave up. I was not going to buy another leaky one. I never "registered my grill (new in June 2020). I bought a different model light which works great. So, I never called them to let them know, perhaps not fair.
You could have got a good new light from Weber and saved some money. All you had to do is call.
Also a good Weber grill cover would stop things from taking in water.

When I got my first from Amazon, it costs $21 after tax.
