The crime here isn't throwing some kitchen cabinets around, but SECRETLY filming your boyfriend at his most vulnerable, right after his mother died, and then making light jokes about his mood to trigger him into getting a response she can use in court. Then EDITING it to make her look good, leak it to the press for money -and LYING about everything.

The matter with the dogs was closed, although she pissed off the whole country in the process. I heard that she may have perjured in that case as well but I can't imagine our courts pursuing a forgeign citizen over such matter when it would be expensive and its mostly been forgotten about by people not following the Depp trial. I could be wrong but it seems like if they were going to do something it would have happened by now.

On an audio tape of Australia when his fingertip got cut off from a flying liquor bottle-his security guards were discussing who was going to get her out of there and escort her back to home-they said she won't have Jerry because he can't be manipulated-they were discussing that they needed someone who is strong who won't be manipulated by her in case "she kicks out." That is quite a testament to who she is.

I have been with my husband for 15 years. I don't have 1 picture or video of him crying, angry, sick, sleeping, in pain, or generally at his worst moments. I also can say the same for him with me. Because this was a civil trial. Prosecutors don't really care that much about those. In criminal trials, which have higher standards and usually higher stakes, perjury and tampering with evidence is taken far more serious and will have serious consequences.
In Australia, that was a criminal trial and this is why she is absolutely on the hook for perjury there, she might get up to 14 years.

There are several ways to perjure yourself. Giving conflicting testimony is one of the easiest ways. Not every conflicting statement by a witness is perjury in Virginia however, if the statements are made knowingly with the intent to deceive, then they can be charged as perjury.
Another common issue is falsifying legal documents. Examples include lying on a driver’s license application, marriage certificate, divorce proceeding, affidavits.
Australia is also trying to get her for perjury for bringing in her 2 dogs without declaration and proper quarantine. Once a liar, always a liar.

That is what I want to see. I am sure that Ben Chew was very careful with this case and they would have caught on if a jury member had someone fill in for them. They have JD's other case coming up. Now with Heard team filing for jury misconduct, this is going to poke Ben's kind personality to stop this from Heard once for all and file for perjury. They made it clear in court that she was lying. They were as direct as possible without going over the line of bad play in the courtroom. I don't think JD wants another court case, but in this I don't think his involvement will be as necessary as this pass trial. Here’s what I don’t get : if you received the juror information at the start of the trial , why didn’t you bring this up then ? You would be able to tell if that juror was or wasn’t in his/her late 70’s🤦🏻♀️ secondly , when the news was pumping out juror demographics DURING the trial , I don’t recall one person being listed as being in their late 70s. So how did the news know correct ages but not the lawyer 🤨 I’m sure he had to show his ID to get in. they are grasping at straws

In order to sign onto ejuror to accept the summons & fill out the questionaire you enter your juror badge number, 1st 3 letters of last name AND DATE OF BIRTH!! If any one of those are wrong, you don't get in. There is NO way someone accidentally got in, this is risking SERIOUS jail time. No Way did this happen. A 77 year old would have been EXCUSED.

My understanding was the "something that happened this morning" was he found out he was embezzled out of 650 million dollars of his life's savings, which he only managed to win back around 20. So, if this was true when he said "I poured myself a large glass of wine, I felt it was necessary" after assaulting his own cabinets, one can appreciate his reaction to being recorded.

Lawyers on YT, especially Law and Lumber, say that court system is very backed up with cases. Rather spend time putting away criminals.
Remember, JD filed this initially on 2019, then had COVID. So it took 3 years for this trial to start. As much as I'd like to see her charged and convicted of perjury in VA, it may never happen. There is still hope for charges in Australia which may change outcome of UK trial.
She is being investigated for perjury in Australia and the fbi is said to help with the investigation. Good things to come I hope.
It was a civil suit not a criminal trial. There is no jail time in a civil case so whether or not you're lying ends with the verdict. And thinking someone is lying is one thing proving it is a far different story. And if you believe a drugged out Depp never laid a hand on a woman you are naive.

You’re right. Instead of her lawyers saying the court should look into the age of a juror, the court should really investigate perjury committed by her. VA law states that even if there are issues with the jury panel, it does not constitute a mistrial.

1) this should've been caught by at least her legal team in the selection process, not to mention the courts themselves do an extensive check themselves to prevent something like this from happening...

I'm thinking that this jury would've been vetted very carefully for such a high profile case. The last thing anyone would want is a mistrial (except the loser of course !).
My guess is the judge will tell Heard’s lawyer she had ample opportunity to vette the juror before the trial so she can’t complain now.
The final jurors were chosen by both parties so if there was a mistake, amber's lawyers are just as guilty for not telling anything to the judge.

In the trial her acting coach's testimony inferred that AH is methodical and has unusual perseverance in doing what she sets out to do. In other words, most people would give up long before AH does. When I heard that testimony I really expected JD's lawyers would use it in their closing to suggest AH was similarly focused on destroying Depp. I don't think they brought it up.

I have served on two juries in the Fairfax County Court House, and each time we individually showed our identification when we went to into the pool of potential jurors so I think it is highly unlikely that someone snuck into the jury.
I think it would be a criminal act to represent yourself as someone else in a court of law.
A much more likely explanation is a clerical error for the wrong date of birth on the jury form.
I found the whole jury process very strict with the daily warnings from the judge about what we could and could not do.
Our judges even warned us about not talking with anyone on the jury about the case until instructed to do so.
We were even warned about not accidentally seeing anyone during lunch or on break.
We took our duties very seriously.
It’s always possible that someone could misbehave, but I think it is highly unlikely.
It can also be the son of the person who was born in 1945 and had the same name eg Tom Smith II or junior. It has happened before and it doesn't change the actual verdict. Also the fact that during a trial that lasted 7 weeks nobody said anything makes it suspicious. I wouldn't be surprised if the issue was brought up during the voir dire and was handled then. Wouldn't be the first time that AH team makes false claims or spins the truth anyway. It's a PR war since day one.

I think possibly, the person born in 1945 didn't show up and they replaced him with someone from the juror pool. I hope they don't declare a mis-trial. She can't pay the 10 million or doesn't want to pay, and her lawyers are playing games.

I wanted to comment about the video clip of Depp slamming the cabinets in light of his mothers passing. I can totally believe that, my dad, when he found out his mom passed away, he punched a hole through a door and into the wall on the other side (the door was open and it was one of those super cheap hollow doors.) People handle news of family passing differently. If indeed true, Turd is one sick and cruel individual for trying to exploiting the occurrence of how a person reacts to the loss of a loved one.
I do wonder about her too, as her own mother passed in 2020. Mine died suddenly the same year and I am only just starting to feel mentally well. I know her behaviour predates this, but it’s not hard to believe she’s in some way affected (if not massively so). Probably drawn her and Whitney closer in terms of loyalty.
Unless somebody has a habit of doing it regularly, attacking inatimate objects is not very telling of their personality. It just means that when they get mad, they know not to take it out on a person.
It might not be the ideal method of managing strong feelings, but it definitely doesn't paint somebody in the light that Heard seems to think it does. But since she's totally oblivious to how she has made herself look during the proceedings that's not so surprising.
She seems to think she is the star of some drama rather than just a persistent cause of unwanted strife. I really hope her parents intervene with her kid as much as they need to, its seriously worrying that somebody so distant from reality is allowed to have kids... Think she was setting up the older more powerful actor pressurizing the young, naive starlet. She was looking to attack this from all angles but she's not too smart.
We went through many years of lawsuits with a sibling who has this personality. They will not let go. Unfortunately, their lies also result in some wins along the way, which just emboldens them. You can't even make deals with them because they will happily breach any settlement agreement. My sibling went from retiring as a millionaire before he was 40 to bankrupt, living in a trailer, and taking odd jobs now at age 63, disinherited and completely cut off from all relatives. They leave a path of destruction everywhere they go, but ultimately they are self destructive.

So I'd be interested to find out where this number 15 was seated and which race he was?

They had however many weeks of pretrial and six weeks of trial to question juror validity. Smells like grasping and sour grapes. I think ol' Elaine is desperate as well, who would hire her to even defend a traffic ticket after seeing how unprepared she was for a 'major' trial. Her work (and apparent IQ) was pitiful.
Don't forget they also had two alternates who were only dismissed at the end when it was time to choose a verdict.
She literally had nothing to work with. Most of the evidence were lies. And her client made the lies even bigger when she got on the stand.
I felt sorry for Elaine during the trial but not after seeing her interviews throwing everyone under the bus. She's probably scared of Amber. And maybe Amber only pledged her fees.
