I was there on business, so seeing a fully in tact African American family walking down the street, in the mall, or the grocery store was overwhelming for them. Particularly for the locals in the provinces who rarely see African Americans. They thought I was an NFL player, and my beautiful wife was Beyonce! It was a great opportunity to expose the true nature of our lives and connect with people, and my children benefited immensely. Still have many lifelong friends from the experience. You and I are part of the enlightenment. 😎

My children traveled via the Jeepney's often, even though we had a personal driver, because I wanted them exposed to the realities of life throughout the world. I wouldn't let myself or anyone in my family be treated disrespectfully. Northern Brothers!!!

It's so mind opening to see how open-minded and welcoming Chinese people are. We hear so much negativity about other races and we form opinions about them without any experience. @-t96 practice speaking with the locals as much as you can. Keep away from just learning fundamentals or grammar in books. It won’t help that much. Focus more on speaking with the locals

Sorry for my English because I am French speaking. I watched several CZcams videos of black men in Korea, Japan, China, and I noticed that they are more or more open-minded. I am a black African man and I am both surprised and amazed to see people who don't even pay attention to your skin color and who don't judge you by your appearance. I have been in all Asia, and chinese people are some of the nicest and most respectful people. They dont really look at race, color as something bad. (My experience) I think some countries have a bad view of China because of media, i was positively surprised when i was in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan.
