Many Lists run Survival of the fittest. How important is it really for premodern madness?

I would add Survival of the Fittest, if I owned one. That card synergizes quite well with Madness.

i think survival of the fittest interchanges the card player discards. this is why it is a great card for madness. although what madness really needs are draw cards to replenish the discarded cards. merfolk is also a great addition
