Brought tears to my eyes when he did that song at Dale Earnhardt Sr. Memorial.
I started to play that at mom and dad’s memorial. I lost mom two weeks ago tomorrow and within 45 minutes to an hour later dad passed away. So I lost both within an hour. It’s been a rough two weeks but it’ll get better.

The Good Lord blessed me with awesome parents but really blessed me with the world’s greatest mom. Now don’t get me wrong I loved dad but mom was my rock. And growing up I know there wasn’t a day she didn’t teach me some little something about life. And good lord seems like she was getting a switch hold of my legs at least twice a week Kinda funny we were talking about that a couple months ago I said, “mom, you know it seemed like you striped my legs every day,” she said no not every day but I should have.”
😢 ohhh....so sorry. That's just awful. I understand ...I lost my mom recently, too. Dad's been gone a long time. For me - it hasn't gotten better with time. I've just had to learn to live with the loss.

Maybe you're not friends, lovers, married to, maybe they aren't even alive? Knowing how bad the ending hurt - would you have changed "the dance" which is the whole great relationship to avoid a painful ending? He says he'd rather not know the ending....

OMG! So happy you listening to my baby sister's favorite song! She was a Warrior fighting Pancreatic Cancer! We lost her she fought bravely. We were traveling to see her. Our first 15 hours driving to California. Was charging my phone at hotel room. We went out for dinner. My phone had missed phone calls. I called them back.... was told Our Mooshie had taken her last breath with a smile. I missing her last smile and hug laughing at me how short I am 4 ft 9 oldest sister and shortest. Garth is basically the Eminem of country. Incredibly talented and one of the biggest selling artists of all time. He made country a global genre.
The person singing this isn’t Garth though, and isn’t nearly as good. The only Garth performances you can find on yt are live performances, as he otherwise doesn’t allow his music on the platform.
I lost my little cousin to Covid last June and another cousin to overdose in March. They weren't just cousins; they were my brother and sister. I truly haven't let myself grieve because that would make it real. But, my God, if it didn't hit me hard hearing this. Oh, my heart hurts.

I actually had no idea this wasn’t Garth Brooks. I’m glad I know now. I am soooooo not a Country music fan. But, I went with my wife to a Garth concert, and I was hooked. He is a pure entertainer. This song is one of the more beautiful songs I’ve heard. One of the things I admire about him is the love he has for his fans. Doesn’t matter if he is walking downtown the street or stopping in the middle of his concert. He came back to Nebraska this summer and packed Memorial Stadium at the University of Nebraska.
