Ace video mate. VW Polo windscreen washers stopped working over the winter, was devasted thinking I had to get a new pump in time for MOT but turns out it's just the fuse! God knows how much money it would've cost otherwise
Useful vid, thanks. On my 2014 Passat the wipers work front and rear but the washers don’t. Headlight wash works. Checked the correct fuse and all fine. Assume I’ve killed the pump?
Hello Mr VW I have a question, I've blown 2x 7.5amp fuses then changes the motor and still no washer jets, in the duration of the two fuses blowing i did have water. But now i only have wipers, this is exactly the same for the rear of the van VW T5.1 2011 👍🤞 Thanks Nice video by the way
Hey thanks for the great comments I love hearing from everyone and for me you either have a wiring fault causing a short or a direct short inside the motor
It turned out to be the stalk, happy days because I had the BCM (body control module) ending 087, and ironically, I'm having cruise control fitted TODAY with my new cruise ready stalk. Worked out being a blessing it all going wrong.
Hi there. I have a 2015/64 b7 Passat. Fuse seems intact for washer. Changed pump (painful). Still no washer but both Fr & Rr wipers alll work. What now?!? Help.
I've got a Seat Leon, basically it's a VW golf. I have the same problem, the manual says the fuse is a 30 amp and it's fuse 19.checked it and it's ok. Any ideas ?

Can you see measure values with a scan tool to see if some signals are missing

My seat Ibiza 2019 stop start not work as i bought recently seem like a new battery does the battery need to be programmed
I would always program a new battery into a start stop system yes

Sounds crazy I know buddy but I can’t imagine the washer pump being a 30amp fuse usually a lot smaller than
@@TheVWMechanic_official I've checked online and looked at fuse box diagram and it says the same. Fuse 19 under the bonnet is a 30 amp. Very strange.

HELP!! What if fuse hasn’t blown and motor works off the car when tested changed stalk and still not working?
Sounds daft have you cleared the fault codes
