    Cheers Lurgsy, with your inspired off-site diagnostic support I systematically identified a leaky pipe and inefficient jets so have ordered 2 new jet nozzle units & 2 new pipe connector repair thingies. Stoked to have saved money on labour time & non-eBay item prices, and makes me feel like a knowledgeable grown up!!!😛👍🤙

      No problem. The T5 washer pipes are a terrible design coz every time you close the bonnet it bends right over so eventually it splits!

    Thanks, saved me a lot of money!!My fuse had blown and just bought a new one for £1 and solved my problem - now don’t have to spend £50 on a ‘diagnostic check’ to find the problem and no doubt extra costs for the repair 😂

    Hello, thank you very much for the video. My Opel Corsa C 2001 windscreen jets don’t work either. First it was the front jets. The both didn’t work, but after a few clicks they worked again. The rear jet at that moment worked. But a few days later, both quit working.

    Good evening! My problem is a little bit different. Whenever I activate the washer, the wiper goes all the way and, going back, stops halfway and the fuse is blown. I tried replacing the fuse and then the exact same thing happened again (wiper stops halfway going back). The only way to get the wiper back in place is to replace the fuse, then start the car so the wiper goes to the original position.

      If the fuse keeps blowing it could be an electrical fault on the motor or the wiring somewhere. Hope you can get it sorted. Good luck

    Why would both rear and front screen pumps go at exactly the same time. I pumped some old screenwash out and once empty I put decent fluid in but both pumps are silent
    No fuses are popped

    Hello! Followed the steps and established that the washer pump on my Soda Fabia SE 2015 was not making any noise. I used the multimeter and could see that the fuse seems to be working okay. I thought that meant my pump had burned out so I replaced it, only to find it still doesn't work. I am hoping it is an issue with the connector on the pump itself. One thing I should of done was use the multimeter on the wiring going to the pump. Is there anything else I can do instead of removing the whole thing again? I am hoping its not the stalk. Any advice please?

    • @LurgsHowToGuides
      @LurgsHowToGuides  Před rokem

      Remove the plug from the pump unit and then put a multimeter on the connections and get someone to pull the stalk and see if you get 12volts. If not then try the fuses first then after that it could be the stalk but they don’t usually fail

    I have Iveco Daily. I didn't try with hot water... going to try that tomorrow. The pump is buzzzing, but no water, i did clean all the hoses and there were no leak either.. so weird, my car is from 2020😵‍💫

      Sounds like just frozen pipes, maybe not enough Screenwash concentrate. Might be ok today if you are in England as it’s milder

      Did you ever solve this. My pump clearly has power - it buzzes loudly. Pipes are clear - I can both blow air back through pipes and make water bubble in tank. And I can suck water from pump up through the pipes. The pump still doesn't move any water....

    Will the central locking work after disconnection? I have disconnected the two wires but my central locking no longer works via keyfob. But I have the feeling this is due to the battery being completely flat as I was away on holiday and the alarm module went off and completely drained battery. But are you able to confirm?

      Need to test the wires on pump with a multimeter when someone pulls the stalk to see if 12v is getting to it. It’s very rare the stalks break. I would double check fuse again. Good luck

    Hi Lurgs. Is it a blade fuse I need for this. There seems to be mini blade, maxi blade and just blade fuses??? Don't know which one to order. Thanks in advance x

    • @LurgsHowToGuides
      @LurgsHowToGuides  Před rokem

      What’s the one that has blown? It is most likely standard size although if it’s tiny that’s the mini fuse. No idea why they created different sizes! The tiny ones are hopeless to try and unplug or plug back in
