    Thanks so much for this. I was at a retreat last year and a friend had this sewing notions roll up bag with the tape measure snap enclosure. I had never known about that before. I am so pleased to know how to do this now. Love it.

    Nice tutorial. I use small snap bags for cash, to keep in my handbag, but love the idea of making larger ones for larger items :)

    Love this tutorial. It was so easy to follow and I love your soothing voice. I’m so glad I remembered to buy an inexpensive metal tape measure to finally make one. There will be several more made in my future you can be sure!

    I love your tutorial, I made a bunch of theses. I made french seams for the sides. That way it can be reversible.

    Love the idea but why not pull the tape out as far as it will go , lock it in place and cut it off. I would. No case to mess with. Or 2nd way. Pull out what you need and lock in place, cut off and tape the remaining tab down to the case to hold in place for next time around.

      You are right, it was a it of a pain but it was possible and it looks nice. One thing I did different,wasn’t so nice though😒 I used a dollar store tape measure and it isn’t very strong and doesn’t hold it together as well as yours seemed to. Thank you for all your great tutorials and entertaining videos!

      @@TheSewingRoomChannel Dollar Tree has a very strange and random assortment of merchandise so I figured I'd give it a try before hitting Walmart or the hardware store and there they were. I have to finish binding a quilt but then I'm making a bunch of snap bags in cheery holiday fabric for all kinds of gifts!!
