That was a gutsy ass 14th Kitchen was able to claw back. Say what you want about the guy but there's no quit in him.

Levi's broken ribs won't heal with a weekend off the only injury I know that the pain gets worse as they heal & nothing you can do about it but wait it out

I did a K Rock style head over bars flip & broke 3 like I said took ages to heal can't cough can't laugh can't sleep just a miserable injury but see what Levi can come up with.

Yeah ribs take about 6-8 weeks to fully heal up. Not a nice feeling at all. Been there, done that!
I broke all mine on the left side, front back, in a crash. It was worse than the collarbone that also broke in that one. Took a long time. Every cough, laugh, sneeze was hell.

Ken Roczen's bike did a smoking thing in a recent race where it was speculated a shock issue, causing him to crash. Then the shock exploded in Nashville. Something inherently wrong with the design? Time to go with a different one entirely. Also, why not make a custom electric start because he is losing many places when he stalls. As fans, we are getting screwed out of great racing with these mechanicals.

Sexton crash seems suspect...rock breaking the throttle housing😶😶😶 Don't they use aluminum housings for that? Used those back in the 90s just for that reason
I might be wrong.....to me it looked he attempted to jump it and came up short....and downplayed what would have been considered a foolish move.. could still be wrong....but he could have held in the clutch and safely slowed down to me. ..but things happen fast and sometimes riders forget to react. just my thoughts

@@Marcelo-cc3dj that wasn't the only Suzuki bike malfunction this season. Bike stalling out during qualifying, radiatory issues at st. louis.
One issue is forgiveable, but multiple issues are not a good look for Suzuki. Its their name on the bike.

I’ve been a huge fan of Kenny since he came back from his previous injuries. I ran into him on the flight back Florida after his win in Glendale. I congratulated him on his win and he was grateful and gracious to take a picture at the gate. I am hoping you come back Kenny but if you don’t you have already proven that you are a Champion. Enjoy the kids
Man I love this sport and it something that I share with my dad, now I have a 2 yr kid and he loves motorcycles, but I struggle with encouraging him because of the injuries. It really hard to see someone like Roksen, Levy, Forkner, Tomac, you name it go trough all the hard work to get to the top and 1 thing destroys your chances and even could potentially kill you.

I have never in my life seen a shock just malfunction like that. It was crazy to see how springy his swing arm was when it bucked him off. Every rider in the field would had gotten bucked off. That was gnarly.

I saw Kenny double into the corner across the start on the broadcast a couple times in the corner of the screen, you could barely see what he was doing there. Kinda surprised the commentators didn't catch it. I assumed Sexton saw him do that, being right behind him, and was trying that when he crashed
Rib injuries get worse during the first 7 to 10 days, before they get better.
Maybe if they didn't make these tracks so damn tight, this wouldn't happen. Watching what looks like 2 dozen riders crammed together like sardines coming around the first corner, it makes me wonder how they don't _all_ crash. Frankly, it's astonishing.
I believe Rocznes injuries were produced whilst hanging on to that bike not the landing.... He actually handled it unbelievably well

These tracks can't hold up. Refresh the tracks (the entire track) after every moto? Why not?
It should now be mandatory to refresh the tracks. What other solutions to help the riders? If this continues, there won't be any major and healthy riders left. Did you see all the open seats? Supercross is losing supporters because partially, these tracks are one lined, broken down, and like Bob Hurricane Hannah" said, this new era generation of riders are spending 75% of their time jumping, not racing. Its not a race track itsxa jumping contest.

I hate the 9 whoops like most people, but I think it worked as intended here to have Kenny NOT smash into the face of a 10th or 11th one..
This was not due to the 9 whoop rule. His bike broke. If there were 10 or 12 whoops the result probably would’ve been the same
I agree. If there would have been 12 whoops Kenny would have landed directly in the whoops with a much higher probability of a worse injury.

Sitting here with a separated shoulder.. yeah. I raced on it. Yak. Too soon. Takes at least a month for it to heal enough to hold itself. 2 weeks out Tuesday.. it better be healed got a national enduro to do in 2 weeks. If I have to duct tape it I'm going.

you must be new to moto.. look up macadoo from atlanta a few years ago and talk about his drive to keep going.. if he pulled off he was hurt. There's not a person in this world that's watched supercross for any amount of time and thinks macadoo is not tough as nails.

If the throttle stuck, the gyro of the rear wheel would make the bike do that.

ever heard of what Eli Tomac can do outdoors? sure he didn’t have a full how ever many months to have a normal preparation but if he figures that bike out like in 2022 and does select outdoor rounds, he will be trouble
