  • Spring is here, and that means it's time to start thinking about fertilizing your lawn. But when is the best time to start? 🌱 A good rule of thumb is to start fertilizing when you see buds on the trees and other signs of growth. That's when your grass starts to come out of dormancy and needs a boost of nutrients to promote healthy growth.
When it comes to fertilizers, I highly recommend Scotts® Turf Builder® Green MAX® Lawn Food. It's formulated with a powerful blend of nutrients to help your lawn grow thicker and greener, with results visible in just a few days. Plus, it's easy to apply and safe for kids and pets 🌱👍🏼

Good tip: fertilize after your forsythia bush blooms and before your lilac bush blooms.

I made a milk jug to use for a seed spreader. Cut the top off and popped some holes in the bottom. Seem to work pretty good. Lol

Great idea! How big of holes and how do you have to go over every square foot of the grass or just dump it from the jug in lines?
