According to a WiwiBloggs Article, “Tattoo” is a dark dance-pop track about holding on to love through pain. There will come a time when she and the subject of the song are reunited and she promises that she’ll do whatever it takes to get back to her love.
Loreen explores a troubled romantic relationship, and fighting for it, as losing the person she loves will destroy her. The metaphor of a “Tattoo”, is that her love is permanent.
