To me they are like food angels , giving and providing the best comfort food to the school kids… sustaining the best healthy food for kids and teachers alike … their efforts is definitely worth continuing, and the complement they got from their teachers and kids are their driving force to continue to contribute to society and I’m very proud of them even though I’m not from Singapore!
All the best to the Vendors Angel’s ❤👩🏻🍳👨🏻🍳❤
So other vendor is devil
"Why open in school in the first place?" That's a profound good point. Good food, thoughtful & caring vendors. Malaysian schools can learn something. #MOE.
Prices of raw ingredients are going up, as much as MOE wants to set guidelines to keep prices affordable, vendors also need to earn a decent wage.
So touching! The great act is not necessarily something grand; they cook from the heart, contributing to delicious school meals. It gives me a sense of true happiness and fulfillment that spreads to others 😊
They look so good, I want to eat too. I hope the school can organize food tasting day to the public. 😆
These r corporate angels !!! Really must honor them. Where the heart matters most and not jus $$$. Salute u chefs. I wish I am able to eat your food in these schools
It’s a noble cause. There’s really not much profit to be earned. Most of them do it from the heart. ❤❤
It’s very difficult to keep the price low especially selling in school canteen. Thanks for serving good food to students. Keeping them heathy and study hard.
Can I eat in the school canteen from now on? Food is expensive nowadays.
Food inflation. 😂😂😂
Food sucks and portion is like 1/4 of outside
I think only poly and uni canteens public can go in
Lovely reflection of caring in School by Singaporeans who care, thank you all...❤🎉❤
Schools should subsidise the vendors. $2.70 is difficult earning for these dedicated school canteen vendors.
Some school max amount for food is $2.20 per dish
Moe should look into it as the ingredients used are increasing.
Protein, veggie & carbo in a dish. Balance for both chefs & student
Salute to these heroes without capes.
thanks for the good food served !
Not enough to name them angel, our government must given more subsidies for these school canteen vendor, such that student can afford a decent meal of not above $3. And stall holder can earned to.
beautiful story. Thank you
That's so yummy
School canteen food is no longer the same
Yeah especially american school lunches. Philadelphia and saint Louis definitely served the worst lunch😒
Meanwhile my schools a flat thing peice of frozen chicken inbetween 2 buns take it or leave it
Amazing❤
Waaaah!*it's my dream thing congratulations to you all*🙌
Kapag dinedevelop ang ibang bansa, pwede ako humiling ng canteen business
Kainan Ng mga construction workers
Maybe. MOE can allow these chefs to cook more food and allow public to enter the schools to eat from say 11am to 1230pm ( where the kids ain't having canteen) so as to help support these chefs financially too. Jus a thought
School security is important!
Public can't enter the school premises just for food!!
I miss mak cik asam laksa from 10 years back. 80cent laksa back then.
1994 to 1997, Queensway secondary school student.. any Pegasuses in here 😊
2012 - 2017 peaguses here, missing stall 2 food as well haha
The western food looks good and delicious.
Canteen vendors are great, wish they were able to earn more profits!
Very Tough..if $ 2.70 per dish, full meal.
Not sure those uncles, auntie can sell freshly 200 plates during 20-40min break..?
Not sure school cover the electricity and water too.😅
Some Hawker stalls in Hawker centre charges high price & the food are not tasty & have no quality. Great that the kids in the school gets to taste healthy & quality food 👍
why does this school have better food then mine
Lucky😢
The school I’m working in, the canteen is really a headache. Vendors always quarreling about the food their neighbour sells conflicts with theirs but in fact it’s not. Food portion is pathetic but the price is still the same as outside and all their want is keep on increasing the price . No point. We wanted to switch to another mode of operating I.e. one vendor to manage all stores but MOE don’t allow. It’s is not easy to manage the canteen.
@@NOpopplaying can’t disclose here sorry.
not forgetting school stalls don't stay open for full day, during school term vacation etc
whilst i read somewhere that rental is low, the high costs of the materials etc + the price cap on the dishes to be sold + healthier choice food options etc
--> effectively offset the profit significantly, correct?

it's "kay-juhn" bro! Not "kah-joon"! I wonder if it's even remotely Cajun, probably not.
Passion ? Retrench more likely. Real ingredients? Is there any unreal ingredients?
This malay guy already gg. MOE has a law say need to serve wholemeal pasta but he serving normal pasta. How can? When I was selling in Primary school i use only wholemeal noodles
Nope it's 80 percent normal pasta and 20 percent wholemeal .. get your facts right with the healthy guideline for the difference in oriental noodles and pasta... normal pasta already contain semolina, which is high in protein and fibre ..
@yusrikamaruddin6595 He never even use 20% wholemeal pasta la.
Legendary queensway uncle!
The corporate one probably career hit roadblock or got husband earning enough to cover.
The malay guy sell pasta one probably nowhere to go. nv plan his life.
